I've ordered a bunch of towels and my chief complaint is they have been needlessly bulky, dense, and thick. Towels don't need to be that huge to work - many feel more like comforters. Other towels take an enormous time to wash and dry for literally no reason, to the point where my dryer ran for hours for these hulking messes. Because those took hours to dry, they also ended up dry and starchy. These towels are thinner and slightly smaller while being very soft, retaining water - doing the job of a towel. I could wash and dry literally two to three times as many as before for less time. They're durable, high quality, and held up to multiple washes while remaining towels. The picture makes these towels look much thicker than they actually are. These towels are very very thin - less than my sink rags. I do like them though because they are soft, but my man wanted thick towels to absorb the water. These are relatively good at removing the water but not near as good at that as the thicker towels i already had. The color (grey) is also a much darker grey than the pictures. These towels are a great size. These were purchased to cover parts of our new sofa. The dogs nails immediately were an issue. As are human nails, rings etc. Reasonable absorbs water They get pulls immediately. They catch on everything.

So far I like these towels. My old towels are ancient, from Costco or Fred Meyer, and they were fraying, so I looked for fairly cheap, dark, larger sized towels to replace them. I didn't expect much, but I like these so far. The black colour is nice and dark. They are surprisingly more absorbent than a lot of puffier ones I've used. They are long so even if you have bigger hips or waistline you should be able to wrap those around your waist and they wont fall off. I have only washed them once, and no loose strings or unusual (towels always shed first wash) amounts of lint left over. They dry fast. If they continue to hold up I will buy again as I retire the old Costco ones to be disposable cleaning rags. ... show more

I waited to review these for a couple of weeks just to make sure they didn't fall apart. They lose some fluff in the drier, but over a few washes and that will settle down and they are still soft. They wash well, not bunching at the seams. Don't seem to stain neither. I love white towels to begin with. Now, their washcloths, they must be a different material. They are great just like the towels, only thing is they stain. Have no idea why, but I got 60 wash cloths so I have some to spare thankfully. ... show more
