I've ordered a bunch of towels and my chief complaint is they have been needlessly bulky, dense, and thick. Towels don't need to be that huge to work - many feel more like comforters. Other towels take an enormous time to wash and dry for literally no reason, to the point where my dryer ran for hours for these hulking messes. Because those took hours to dry, they also ended up dry and starchy. These towels are thinner and slightly smaller while being very soft, retaining water - doing the job of a towel. I could wash and dry literally two to three times as many as before for less time. They're durable, high quality, and held up to multiple washes while remaining towels. Unlike many of the other reviews, I did not find that the towels gave off excessive lint on the initial washings (washed them twice before first use). The towels are larger, soft and fairly absorbent. Like other reviews, I found the towels to be on the thin side. If I were buying towels at a store where I could gauge the thickness before buying, I would not have purchased these. Now that I've washed them (hoped they would have fluffed up a bit which didn't happen), they will do. I purchased these because they were the only ones I could find in a deep red and forest green at this size. Most others only came in white/cream/taupe which does not match our decor. ... show more

These towels are perfect for me. I don't like heavy or thick towels. These absorb water well. I love the white color. They washed well without any puckering like a lot of towels do. These towels are very good quality for the price. They have lasted awhile now with barely any fade or shrinkage. At first I preferred the other brand I had gotten at the same time, but after a few washes, the other ones faded and got weirdly wrinkled for some reason while these remained soft and dark blue. I love these towels, but several of them frayed with long strings after washing even though I followed the manufacturers instructions. The rest seem to be fine and are my favorite towels. They're soft and very absorbent even though they are not overly thick.
