I'm happy with these. They are good for the price. They aren't as thick and fluffy as my other towels but not bad at all. The cotton is reasonably soft and as absorbent as it should be. 100% cotton is important to me. I think synthetic blend towels are no good because they aren't very absorbent. When you wash and dry them they WILL shed a lot of "fluff" for the first two or three washes, but they keep getting softer and softer. They dry much faster and more thoroughly than my other towels. Since then, each time out of the dryer, the thickness of the fiber left on the filter is about 3 times over that of other towels. I love these towels, but several of them frayed with long strings after washing even though I followed the manufacturers instructions. The rest seem to be fine and are my favorite towels. They're soft and very absorbent even though they are not overly thick.
