Not going to lie, I opened these expecting a true skort because the way the model is standing (& the listing) suggests that there is somewhat of a skirt appearance in the front. Upon closer inspection, I was like... "Wait, shorts inside of other shorts..? Yeah, no - these are going back.", then I proceeded to try them on anyway. Good thing I did - I REALLY like them on! They're super comfy and seem perfect for working out or lounging. I also love the waist on them, very nicely done. (I don't know about "tummy control" lol but it does seem like they'll stay up and not roll down.) True to size - I wear a 4 and the small fits well. I really like this item. It looks like I am wearing a mini skirt, but I have the added protection of the shorts underneath. They are very comfortable and stretchy which means, even if I lose weight, I will still be able to wear them. Very nice fashion design and extremely functional.

The top layer are baggy shorts, not a skirt which I found disappointing. I wore them to my besties house to see what she thought and she said that she couldn't tell it was shorts so that was a plus.
