I like the carbon fiber look a lot matched with the wood grain. It’s a thin yet durable case. I wouldn’t count on it for great protection, but I didn’t buy it for that. I prefer to keep the phone as slim as possible. Sweet looking case. Mostly smooth - a little grippy

This case fit an iPhone 8 perfectly. No gaps, nor looseness. Case is thin enough to use wireless charger. Lip around screen protects your phone if dropped and comes with 1 tempered glass screen protector, for added protection. Case is manly, stylish and tasteful. My guy really liked it and he is very particular man. He said it fit in his front pocket with no bulk, and it slipped in and out of his pocket without catching. The reason I gave this 4 stars instead of the 5 it deserves for function and looks, is because it does not have a good enough grip to it. It is a bit slippery for having the rubber like material on it. I tested it for grip and I just felt like it could still slip out of your hand if you weren't paying attention. Possibly it would not. I asked my guy if he had dropped it yet and he said no. So there's that. For the money, it is well worth it for the looks, the protective lip around the screen and the tempered glass screen protector. These 3 things alone are 5 star. I find it a durable extremely well fitting and handsome case for a man. I do recommend this highly, just remember the grip is not completely slip free. ... show more

There's not really too much to say about a phone case. I saw this Tendlin case advertised on Facebook and found it on Amazon for 15 bucks. It's a one-piece molded plastic with features of wood and carbon fiber. It fits snugly on my iPhone SE and has enough resistance in the material for a decent handhold or staying put on a hard surface. I didn't realize it also comes with a screen protector; a nice touch. Actually very nice, looks impressive...I wondered about the wood grain but it holds up well. Good grip, but if you drop your phone a lot you might want something a little more bouncy.

Materials and presentation of the case were done well. Wood is not really hard, which makes the case flexible. (Understandable since you need to get the phone in there.) You can put the metal for magnetic phone holders inside along with the phone. I’ve yet to test it on the car. Includes screen protector (but I had bad luck while putting it on and got covered in dust). Said screen protector is not a replacement for a thicker one. Thicker one is recommended. Previous phone case I had kept screen from touching the surfaces, this one does not, thus requiring user/buyer to acquire/install screen protector to prevent screen breaking. All in all, 10/10 would recommend buying if you just want the phone to look good and have some protection. 9/10 on screen protection, but they make it up by giving you a screen filament. (They are aware the screen may break, which is a good sign). Price adequate for the quality, but If you need something sturdy enough to rival bricks, you might want to look somewhere else. ... show more
