Coming from the default Xfinity Wireless Router to this is like night and day. I used to have to reboot daily for a decent WiFi connection but not anymore thanks to my Tenda AC10U! I work in IT so when I come home I just want my network to work. With the Tenda AC10U I does just that and more. I am able to stream on multiple devices without it buffering past the 2nd device, WiFi range is on the lowest setting and still stronger than ever, Xbox game streaming works great at high quality, gaming in general has gotten a lot better. This was the perfect addon to my network closet/ linen closet lol. This Router is full of features for basic and advance users and it was affordable! Updated: have been using for a few months now as an AP only and for that purpose it works OK. Not great. Regularly drops for 30 seconds at least 3x a day*. Of course one of those is always during a steaming show/movie. As long as it is up speed is good. Maintains connections with ~40 individual devices. Setup is easy, though I have seen much better UI's. *I don't use 5ghz range. But, if I do then the router becomes worse. More drops. So, it's cheap, it works, but I would not purchase again. ... show more

    • Purchased 2 and created a meshed system

Easy to set up. I purchased two and set up the 2nd one in AP mode, (Access Point) which allowed them to act as a meshed system. As I walk through my house, my endpoint device changes to the closest wireless router exactly as a meshed system does. More detail on my setup: The first main wireless router is set up normally. My 2nd unit is then set up in AP mode (found in the advvanced tab of administration) and the 2nd router WAN port is wired to a LAN port of the first unit. I used the same SSID and pasword in both units. It then becomes a meshed system. Works great for me. ... show more

While quick install set up implied per instructions it would be automatic I was unable to make that Internet Provider and password transfer over to Tenda, therefore I entered the information manually, the hard wire connection was seamless but connecting all my WiFi electronic devices seemed more challenging, all in all once the password sync was established mobile phones, printers and Alexa were all happy, that's the one reason for swapping out my old Netgear, Tenda streams flawlessly the music from Amazon music, no hiccups, mobile phones go Straight to 5G, signal strong, but could be better for two story 2100 sq.ft.home. I did not try tech support since all of the reviewers say it was useless, China. App install is good tool. Been installed for three months no issues. ... show more

Bought two to replace old ones that I had in two of my houses. One is s two story that had issues getting the internet throughout the house and will get no wifi to the backyard, the other is a one story where will get no signal to the rooms, this units give great signal at great speeds. Get over 100mbps with the 2.4 and the 5ghz and signal all the way to the neighbors house backyard. ... show more

Compared to my old router I was getting inconsistent speeds (see picture) and slow zones in the apartment. But this Tenda one have crazy good coverage and has gigabit ports there for the router doesn’t bottle neck like my old one.

Great router. Awesome coverage throughout the house. Have excellent speeds even over WiFi. We stream video have five computer and cell phones. No buffering. Would definitely recommend this product and the price just makes it better

I have now purchased 4 of these and am successfully using in a 4000SFT house. Am successfully able to stream at least 4 devices simultaneously with 100MB connection. I do NOT use one as the main router. I am only using as APs spaced appropriately. They all show 100MB plus download speed. This was a SERIOUS upgrade over my previous equipment and not that expensive. I suspect the Mu-MIMO standard may have something to do with the improvements. I would highly recommend (for AP use). I do NOT have an opinion as using as your primary router. Some have had poor luck or claim routings in firmware causing problems?? Fiber is now available in our neighborhood but I have NOT yet made that switch. I may delay it since I now get what I need. I have NOT attempted to simultaneously stream MORE than 4 devices and NONE of my devices is set up using 4K. Your results may vary. ... show more
