Great mattress for sleep albeit a tad pricy. Worth the money though to guarantee a solid nights sleep or an uninterrupted afternoon nap.

Similar story to many buyers on here. Tempur-Pedic is apparently no longer the quality it was in years past. Now owned by Sealy - they appear to be trading on name, making inferior beds that do not last, backed by a 10-year warranty that's useless. Bought a Tempur Pro-Adapt Medium Hybrid in August of 2020 for $3700. Less than two years later, it's so bad that, rather than continue to suffer, my Wife and I decided to throw in the towel and buy another new mattress all together. Wish I read the 1-stars before this purchase (rather than the supposedly "independent" blogs & review sites.) We've experienced the same issues, as mentioned by others: - Cover feels cool, but warms up and sleeps hot - Bed is sensitive to room temp - Feels fine through its trial period, but near a year, softens, leading to back pain, and rolling / sinking towards your partner - Somehow the bed is both too firm and yet unsupportive. (Side sleeping results in numb-ness, while back sleeping brings shoulder and lower back pain) A year into ownership, we knew this thing was bad, but I remained in denial - there's no way that a Tempur-Pedic, such a well-regarded, costly brand - one that my family has had great experiences with (albeit the Tempur-Pedic of decades ago) - is THIS bad. We even gave Tempur-Pedic MORE money by purchasing a topper, thinking we could salvage this costly mistake. As another reviewer mentioned, that was not enough to make up for the core issues with this mattress. So, we tested it. 6 months ago, needing a new bed for the guest room, we bought a Casper Hybrid. My Wife and I both have sleep trackers in Aura Rings. She "felt" the Casper better, truthfully so did I, but we decided to conduct a little experiment. We slept a month on each bed. We kept our routines the same. The bed-in-a-box, half the price Casper - slept significantly better for both of us. Anecdotally, we "felt" better on the other mattress. Empirical data backed this up. Every sleep metric was higher when not sleeping in the Tempur. More deep & REM sleep, less movement, higher restfulness, etc. Less than 2 years into owning this garbage mattress, with a July 4th sale, we replaced it. Oh, and don't even bother with a warranty claim. The mattress needs to show an indentation of greater than 3/4'' an inch. I suspect that Tempur is building these mattresses w/a weak, unsupportive top layer, one that losses support just outside the return period - BUT is also able to rebound. Meaning with no one on the bed there's no indent, but lay on it, and its lack of support and that sinking feeling is readily apparent. Both to your physical comfort, as well as your bank account. (Btw, my Wife and I are not large people. The combined weight of two people on this King mattress was less than 340lbs). Steer clear and get a superior product (for likely less) from another brand. Tempur is trading on its name at this point. I'm sure they figure this is a onetime purchase - so what if you screw the customer over? But you know what, anyone who will listen, I warn them not to be sucked in, like I was. I truly hope this review helps someone not be out $4k+. ... show more

We love the firmness we got a hybrid medium. Feels amazing it really is a cool mattress. We have had it for a week and LOVE it. We stay cool and comfortable! Firmness is just right We got the medium hybrid. No aches or pains sleeping better. should have done this sooner. We were told we'd be sore for a while adjusting to a new mattress.... NOT AT ALL. FANTASTIC SLEEP since we've had it. DON'T HESITATE DO IT, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!!!!! ... show more
