The media could not be loaded. This indoor basketball goal is actually our third one (all different brands). I bought a couple earlier this year. They get used daily so I thought we would try another one out. Of the three this one has the widest rim and I like that. It's only slightly larger but it makes a difference. It takes a little assemble for the rim but nothing too bad. Although I recommend you have a proper wrench to tighten the bolts to save time and effort. But the little free one that they provide will work. The backboard is slightly smaller than the other two we have but that's a non-issue. All of these type of boards have springs under the rim to minimize the shock of slam dunks. However, this one is set up different (and better). The springs allow the rim to bend down (up to almost 90- degrees) which takes stress off where it connects with the backboard. I like that and it should add to the life of the backboard. It doesn't interfere with game play and I think actually makes it better. There still is plenty of tension so the rim doesn't bend from contact with the ball. The backboard does rattle around some when in use. Again, it is a non-issue but it does create some noise when in use. This has become our favorite indoor backboard for my 10 year old and 4 year old sons and I. There are plenty of indoor backboards out there and most are likely just fine. But this one has great features plus it comes with 4 mini basketballs!!! Can't beat that! ... show more

The real metal rim is awesome. This is not a cheap piece of garbage like other back of door rims. Good spring loaded action, Good fit on door. Also the basketballs are good quality as well. I am happy.

This hoop was enjoyed by my whole family! It is very sturdy and held up to some pretty aggressive shots and slam dunks. It comes with four balls which allows more people to shoot at once. The box said it was the “scoring version” although the description did not say that. The description was correct - it does not keep score. It was relatively easy to put together. Be sure and remove the plastic protective film from the backboard before assembly. The wrench that comes with it is not great so use your own if you want to save some time. Now for the flaw... I knew as soon as I assembled it that there was going to be a problem - the bolts stick out too far in the back even with the included thick bumper pads. I figured they’d scratch the door so I put a bit of duct tape on the end of the bolts. Unfortunately, even with the tape it still scratched my closet door. The bolts really don’t need to be that long. An improvement would be shorter bolts or at the very least maybe plastic or rubber caps for the bolt ends. We ended up taping a washcloth to the back to cover the bolts as padding. I wanted to give this 2 stars due to the scratch on my door but my teens said it is really a great hoop and deserves more so we compromised on 3, but without the scratches on my door this would have been a 5 star rating. ... show more

Love this hoop. Great for kids and adults alike. It was very easy to put together with the tools provided and goes up on the door easily. It seems very sturdy and is holding up well to daily use. I really appreciate the foam pads in the back of the board to protect the door. It does not damage the door at all, so huge plus. Also, this comes with 4 balls and a pump. There's no storage for the balls so make sure to have a little basket to store the balls when not in use. This is a great value for what you get and how well made it is. ... show more
