Always a fan for multi purpose item. Just recently add this ladder for ceiling compound work. Fold and unfold is quick and simple when it is unfold it take up less then 2x3. It is little heavy but it still easy to carry. Because the weight it stand steady.

This ladder is not very sturdy. I tried to use it once and I would not recommend anyone with reasonable size to use this ladder it is not very stable or safe. It is not light as they claim which surprised me. I thought that it would be a good ladder due to the fact that is weight was heavier then my little Giant. I only climb to the third step and refused to use it anymore. The only way (if any) that you should use this ladder is if it is against something to keep it from shaking and make sure that you tie it down.     • You get what you pay for
So first off, it’s not as light as I was hoping it would be but I guess it’s not bad for as tall as it is. The one thing I hate is that it doesn’t stay locked unless it’s been extended so when you only need it half way, you have to grab the bottom end, to move it. It isn’t as stiff as i would like, it bends a bit as you get up on it, especially when it’s mostly extended. And finally the black ends leave marks on the wall, my suggestion is to wrap them with a cloth. The only good thing is that it collapses to a small compact size, good for storing, but I would recommend looking for something more solid if you plan on using it more often. ... show more

It is compact enough to put in our pass-through storage area and is plenty tall for getting on the roof for maintenance and to sweep off our slide-outs.The feet have good rubber caps that are angled on both sides for making good contact with the ground. It is light enough for me to move and use with ease.This ladder is easy to put up and take down and move wherever you need it. ... show more

    • Poorly engineered
I bought this because I have limited storage space and high ceilings (taller than most regular ladders). To begin with, there were no assembly instructions included; there is a cross beam floor brace so, it is clear where its supposed to go BUT: 1) there was a protruding plastic flange that prevented the insertion of the cross beam (I had to cut it out) and then 2) the holes for the retaining bolt did not line up. I had to force the bolt through in order to install. Also, while the ladder telescopes into the 'open' position easily and is fairly sturdy, it is extremely difficult for one person to close it because there are four release latches on each rung (i.e. you need four hands to press all latches simultaneously in order to close it.
