This seems like the cheapest ladder in this price bracket. That being said it's made pretty well and seems to function most of the time although the rungs do get stuck here and there. There are a couple dangers to be aware of. 1. There's a very real potential for smashing hands and fingers when closing the ladder down so be careful of that. And if you're on any surface that's even remotely smooth the feet will slip and slide out from underneath you. This ladder has tried to kill me a couple times. Wish the feet actually had some grip. Side note the feet also leave black skid marks on whatever surface when they do slip. ... show more

These are not the sturdiest way to get to higher places, but as extension ladders go, this is handy because it retracts to such a small size, Very helpful for RV's or any situation that storage is more important then supper sturdy. For emergency or locational use, I find this to be perfect!

The Telescoping Ladder has become very handy on our lake property. With the ladder being lightweight, it's easy to carry around on the property. We also like how easy it is to use; it folds up and stores nicely. With it taking up minimum space; we are able to store it just about anywhere. Beware! Will likely break your thumb or a finger! When closing it you push two plastic pieces together. But unless the bottom rungs are fully closed they will stop halfway. The very bottom releases need to be pushed to get the whole ladder to close, which means the entire weight of the ladder will collapse when you push on the bottom plastic pieces, and your thumb or finger is poised to land between the rungs. If this were made in the U.S. OSHA would close down this company immediately. This is horrible c&#p. Avoid this! Mine is going in the trash tonight. ... show more
