I purchased this reversible red-green octopus plushie to use as a classroom management tool, and it has been a huge success! "Octi" the octopus has become a fun and visual way to communicate class expectations. When Octi is smiling and green, it signals that the class is on task and in the "green zone." I'm angry - leave me be... I'm happy - lets talk Was looking for some type of stuffed "thing" to help convey emotions non-verbally within the house. Sometimes you just dont want people to engage you. Sometimes you are just to angry to talk. Or to sad to talk. You just want some visual "thing" to reflect the emotion, and then a simply way to change that to show. "Hey I'm good, now you can approach me" I found these TeeTurtle an though DANG !!! these are perfect. And they are. They offer great color variations, and a wide variety of emotions. Pros: - great color - great color variations on other emotions they sell - easy to flip from angry to sad - pretty reasonable cost - very very soft - we dont use them as a toy, so they seem to be durable Cons: - none Would I purchase again/recommend them: Yes! in fact I have already purchased more Teeturtle with some difference emotions ... show more
