While it's not the original by any means I find it to be cute and fun. My children love it. I'm a little sad it can't interact with my original furbies though, but rest assured my rainbow furby has woken me up out of a dead sleep at 3:40am EST because it decided it was dance time much like the original furbies occasionally did to many people so if you want randomly woken up during the witching hour by all means leave this guy in the room you sleep in because it goes all out with a dance and light show just to scare your jammies off and I am taking the batteries out now. ... show more

This is nice but frustrating. Furby has trouble following some commands. The voice warping feature is seriously flawed, as the recording cuts off very early or doesn't work at all. Otherwise it's alright. My daughter plays with it once every few weeks.

Very sturdy and smooth movements! The pet and tickle sensors are touch sensors instead of actual buttons, which is a cool improvement. The feet movement is a nice addition, though I wish the beak could move as well. The ears animate well and can move independently, and the light up feature is a fun addition to the expressions. There are more features in each category to unlock as Furby is played with. Chill is a particularly nice command, teaching kids meditative and calming techniques. I wish there were more interactive games, but there are so many different voice lines programmed in that I still haven't heard all of them. This Furby is also easy to turn off by either laying on it's back and waiting for it to fall asleep or triple tapping it's grm to immediately turn it off, which is a great addition. The charm necklace is also a really cute idea and I love that they included it. Overall a great new version of Furby. ... show more
