  • Great gift
Got it for my son for Christmas. He likes it, but if he is rough with it some pieces fall off and we need to put it back together. Would be better if they made a version that had more than a cardboard backing. He’s happy with it, so that’s what matters.

  • Fantastic playset
Everything about this is awesome except he entire top portion is cardboard. I am using it as a diorama so it's fine but for the price I wish it was a plastic backdrop instead of something that will surely not withstand the test of time.

  • Fun item. Don’t make them like they used to though!
Fun item, a little overpriced in my opinion for a good portion of this item being simple cardboard! It’s not like how the toys of the 80’s and 90’s used to be! It’s a shame but for what it’s worth, this is fun. Just don’t compare it to the Sewer Lair of the early 99’s or you will be sorely disappointed. ... show more

  • Great Playset Without the Ooze
Very fun playset! Both our 7 and 12 year old love it. Tons of different things to do with it, and it should provide lots of options for different imaginative play scenarios. However, it’s durability is questionable - I’m afraid various parts will easily break, even with gentle play. And I’m really not a fan of the Ooze packet! It went straight in the trash. See the photo for the Caution statement. It’s a recipe for disaster! I’m particularly confused by the part where it says “Do not use on surfaces that could be damaged by water,” when the playset itself has stickers and a cardboard component! ... show more

  • Poorly made and unstable
My 4 year old grandson will love this because it is TMNT. As an adult, however, I can see how poor it is. The plastic pieces are very lightweight and do not snap together well. I doubt that the cardboard back panel will last the day. This entire thing is disappointment just waiting to happen. I would not purchase again and do not recommend it to anyone else. I wouldn't be surprised to see a picture of this toy in the dictionary as an example of the word ripoff. ... show more

  • Over priced!
Bought this for our 4 year old grandson and was very disappointed in the quality of this product especially based on its price. The top half is cardboard material and the bottom half is cheap wobbly plastic, pieces to secure the cardboard keep falling off. While a cool concept, it’s just generally not a well made product. We spend more time reattaching the door to the “elevator” as others have mentioned and it does not slide well at all, gets stuck on cardboard when trying to slide. Be warned this product is not built to last and definitely not a $75 product, maybe worth $25 to $30! My grandson still played with it but would get so frustrated by it! I will try and reenforce the backing with wood if that doesn’t work it’s almost ready for the trash. ... show more
