  • i love it
Pattern Name: synthesizer
is expensive. is amazing. everything you can do with this toy you can do it with a daw and midi controller BUT is not as fun as using this. is portable, easy and unpredictable in a good way. the fact that i refer to this as "a toy" is because i love it and using it feels like playing.

  • The OP-1 we should have had all along!
Pattern Name: synthesizer
TLDR; If you already own an OG OP-1, the differences between them may not be worth shelling out for the Field. If you don't already an OG OP-1, get the Field. My original review for the OG OP-1 is below; this review will focus on the Field, and the differences between the Field and the OG OP-1. https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R1HC3HSP4CVF9L/ref=cm_cr_dp_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B00CXSJUZS ... show more

  • Super fun
Pattern Name: synthesizer
Once you get really familiar with the interface, making music on this thing is so fun! Tons of parameters to adjust make me rethink the way I was making music before. In a great way!

  • amazing, fun, and extremely powerful
Pattern Name: synthesizer
this is an incredible device that i will have and use for the rest of my life. there's a lot of negative criticism of this device out here, most of it is not well-informed. if it's good enough for hans zimmer and bon iver, then im sorry but anyone in an amazon review who said it's not a pro-level device is sadly missing out on it's potential, or frankly mistaken. ... show more

  • An expensive toy
Pattern Name: synthesizer
I’m a 25 year pro songwriter/producer. I thought this might be a handy tool to use outside of my studio. It’s a toy. Attractive and sounds good but the workflow/intuitiveness/ease of transfer to pro setting are all imhibiting and gimmicky. I’ve heard folks say it would be great at $1,000 price point. It would still be a toy. I’d rather pay $2,000 for a more intuitive workflow and compatibility (and undo). Not a pro tool. ... show more

  • Overpriced.
Pattern Name: synthesizer
This is a very cool device, but don't be fooled, it is in no way worth the $2000 price tag.

  • really good but the price is unrealistic
Pattern Name: synthesizer
I don't know if they are going for an apple type business model by making well designed products and overcharging for them based on name recognition, but based on the amount of reviews this has, cant be working too well.
