Tolerant temperatures -20degrees C (-4 degrees F) to 130 degrees C (265 degrees F); package icons: microwave, refrigerator (I think), and washer...all checked as safe". I drink a lot of cold herbal tea and have always wanted a filter carafe like this. It's perfect; the mesh is extremely fine, it handles boiling water no problem, and it holds a ton of water - I live in a hot climate, so we go through a lot of beverages especially in the summer.
