Description

Read more Team Group Delta Max RGB SSD 1 TB Review wins "HIGHLY RECOMMEND AWARD" from TECHPOWERUP (January 16, 2020) I was stunned at how smooth and perfect the lighting effects looked, almost like they put an LCD screen on top of the SSD. What also makes things convenient is that the Delta Max hooks into your motherboard's ARGB output, so you can synchronize it with the lighting effects of the rest of your system. Each of the 20 LEDs can be controlled individually, both in color and brightness. Team Group did a great job achieving such nice lighting with only 20 LEDs, which not only helps limit power consumption but also keeps drive temperatures at decent levels—the drive was barely hand-warm during all our testing. - Product Specifications Model: DELTA MAX Lite (Dram-less version) ARGB SSDInterface: SATA III 6Gb/sCapacity: 512GB Terabyte Written: 512GB: 400TBW Performance ATTO / Crystal Disk Mark 512GB Read: 550MB/s ; Write: 500MB/s IOPS IOPS: 512GB 4K Random Read/Write: 70K/60K IOPS Max Dimensions 100(L) x 69.85(W) x 9.5(H)mm 2 WAYS TO LIGHT UP THE SSD • Sync mode uses 5V ARGB 3 pin to Micro B Cable: SSD can be synchronized with the motherboard. • RBG defective
The cable for the RBG lights was defective. Contacted the seller on here with no response. Contacted TeamGroup via their website, was told to contact the motherboard manufacturer. Amazon offered to return the item, but I this was my only drive on my newly built PC. Was hoping for a partial refund, because I need my computer for school work and didn't want to be without a SSD card for 2 weeks. Would not recommend, will not buy this brand name again. Read the negative reviews, and took the chance anyway. EDIT: TeamForce actually saw my negative review on here, and reached out to me. They sent me a replacement cable, without having to return anything. Shipping was fast, even though it from from overseas. Glad they helped me out! ... show more

  • Nice drive
Capacity: 1TB Style: Delta Lite
Nice SSD that goes well with my custom build. One thing you will need is a Sata cable. It does not come with one. No issues so far. I did plug the lighting cable into a 5v expansion block, and it works well with it.

  • Love The Look, Now I Love How They Work!!
I love these, got 4 1T's, work great, LEDs look awesome, was worried about them because they arnt Big Box names, but as soon as I fired them up all that washed away.. Only Con and not really a Con is they should have a cable to connect the LEDs together if you are running more then 1 drive.. I bought a seperate 5vdc controller plugged all 4 into that, then plugged it into the motherboard.. ... show more

  • DONT BUY! I THINK I BOUGHT A ZIP BOMB!
This was my first SSD i've only had standard hardrives and nvme. I was looking for something new and flashy. This SSD look great had great reviews and had a fair price. I thought this would come with a sata wire, it didn't, so i'm waiting on one to come. I decided to plug only the normal l shaped sata that my computer has in it and the RGB wire to get it ready. I don't know if it was that or if this product is a scam, but once my computer turned on i noticed it was extremely slow and chrome opened and there were tabs being opened every second. By the tome o puled the plug there had been dozens of chrome tabs opened. So I think I just bought some kind of ZIP or in my case BROWSER BOMB! DO NOT BUY! PLEASE! ... show more

  • Good SSD with a Flair
Capacity: 1TB Style: Max
I'm currently using two of these in a non-raid SATA 3 connection as the data banks for a custom build. 2 TB isn't much for this feature, so a future upgrade will be large HDDs as the main media tanks while the SDDs will provide speedy access to the system for media manipulation in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite and perhaps DaVinci Resolve as well. What's nice about these SSDs is that they are able to provide both features simultaneously for the time being. In fact, one could conceivably use them in this manner indefinitely (well, for the read/write life of the SSD, anyway) if one has no need to archive media - eg: as a revenue system where client media has no expectation of life after final delivery of the product. These are not installed as a RAID; usually that makes sense for HDDs in which the RAID configuration offers a significant speed advantage. SSDs are usually faster out of the box than RAID'd HDDs. That said, there may be applications where configuring these as a RAID might still have an advantage. Still, Windows recognizes both drives as a single unit: while these are not in a RAID per se, they are set up to be similar to a RAID in that they appear to Windows as a single drive. This was a straight-forward option during mounting in the Disk Management application. That was the only connection surprise, but it is a pleasant one (ok, last time I built a system, HDDs were still all the rage). Team Group has other SSDs that do not feature RGB - and they have other RGB options as well. These had such a cool look, and since the case they're installed in has a built in RGB driver (these are also fully compatible with most motherboard LED schemes), I went ahead and went with this RGB option. I have seen no other offerings from any other manufacturer that have so unique an appearance. Somehow Team Group managed to create a "subdued" LED theme (not dim, subdued. There's a distinction). Subdued and LED are both an oxymoron of each other, yet Team Group pulled it off leaving a look that is classic rather than clown. These however have a very striking look even with the system off. Sans LED light, they have a really slick black mirror finish (caveat: leave the plastic film on the surface all the way through assembly, and only remove it when the glass panel is being installed for the last time prior to putting the new system into service). The best part; LED lighting aside, these have performance specs rivaling better known competition and in some cases have a better wear leveling scheme. I would like to see an option for drives in this model greater than 1TB, perhaps Team Group will work on this for future versions. These are however working very nicely and I am happy with their performance as well as appearance. Presuming they remain functioning to specs for a reasonably acceptable period, I would buy them again. ... show more

  • Awesome hard drive!
Capacity: 1TB Style: Max
The wire mess is cleaned up just a picture to show the awesome purplish tint. I liked the original color so much I didn’t even use the RGB. One downside is there are no mounting holes on the side of the drive. I used double sided gorilla tape to secure them to the cages.

  • What a shame...
I have now gone thru 2 of these 500G drives. The first one, the RGB just barely flickered. Didn't matter if it was connected via the ARGB connector or the USB. Ok. Maybe I got a bad one.... Replacement received, this one litterly melted the ARGB mini connector. No lights whatsoever. I give up.....

Capacity: 512GB Style: Delta Max Aurora Lite (White)
Muy buena compra ... show more
