This was super easy to cut to size, easy to take out and clean. I like that I can use a disinfectant spray (yes reptile safe) even though it is black it is super easy to see when/where it needs cleaning and he seems to enjoy it. We have been using a sand mat for our beardie for a while now but they are very difficult to keep clean. I will periodically take his mat outside and hose it down but that loosen the sand and they just don’t hold up well. I love this mat because it has the same amount of traction as the sand mats but I can wipe it clean anytime there is an especially wet mess. I keep a mini dust pan in a drawer under the tank for daily clean up. The lizard tank is always neat and tidy now which makes me and the dragon a lot more happy! ... show more

Cleans easy, I like the black because my bearidie can see his food moving better, and I can see what needs to be cleaned better. It's very long so I still have half a row for a 90 gallon tank. So basically you can get two uses out of it.

Loved the easy of install. But I don't like that every once in a while my lizard has a runny poop and it just makes the cage a mess as compared to when I used the felt type liner or sand.
