I bought these pants as a lightweight quick dry option for boat and shore fishing. They dry super fast. The are super comfortable. And most importantly, they last. I fish a ton and a lot of it requires me to walk through bushes and what not. I’ve worn these for probably 60 fishing days. Not all days need me to walk through bushes but a lot do. I also hook my pants a lot while changing baits, a lot of the time intentionally to hold the hook. I’ve wiped my knife off a bunch, wiped stuff on the pants, I’ve even gotten a small cut on my leg from a stick but it didn’t rip the pants lol I’ve had no rips at all actually not even small ones. The zippers all still work. They aren’t falling apart anywhere and are very lightly worn down after all that. The clip it uses above the zipper looks and behaves brand new. And to add, they are not faded at all from all the sun. All in all a great buy. Will buy this brand again. ... show more

Great for shell or for breathable rain pants. I got them for when it’s coming down and I’ve gotta walk my dog. I put these to the test last night by going on about an hour walk in very very heavy rain (LA is getting dumped on this week). The result to my surprise was not much wetness had gotten through except a bit at the leg where my jacket was pressed against them as I walked. 4 stars because the material does feel very thin, meaning these are definitely not stopping any kind of sticks or small brush from chopping away at your legs if you’re out camping. Not that I recommend you running through a field of cactuses anyway ... show more

The fit is spot on. Very lit weight so I can see these as being beneficial for hiking or outdoor activities in warm weather rather than wearing blue jeans or sweatpants. I have clothes from Eddie Bauer, North Face, Cotopaxi, marmot, etc. This is well worth the price for these pants. Very lightweight. Yet nice enough to retain some heat. No limit to movement. Overall great set of hiking pants.

Great quality pants and work pretty well on hikes. It does have a tight feel. I have soccer legs and these pants do fit a little bit tight. They stretch a little bit but it's almost like these are slim fit.

Ever worn a pair of nylon board shorts or swim trunks - well turn them into pants with out the weird swim suit liner to keep your junk in place and boom that’s these pants quick to dry - super lightweight - pack small - lots of pockets - but I wouldn’t weigh them down too much - belt is a fashion statement (been 12 hours and I think the belt is already in my misc straps bin) All in all - super comfy - I wouldnt expect them to last a wicked long time but they will do the job ... show more
