    • Most forgiving clubs I've ever put in my bag
On a Sunday round, I had just added these to my bag. I was working with an old set of pings before this and my game was inconsistent some days I was 96, and some days I was 86 (rarely break 90.) First time out with these clubs and my game was pretty awful I focused on a lot of speed to get the distance I desired so around hole 10 I decided to just relax hit a simple shot lay up and play safe. I came to a sudden realization that I was trying to compensate for my old clubs. I didn't need to try as hard or go as long. Truly game improvement clubs by hole 14 I was feeling really good about my slow swing speed and just enjoying the game. I was hitting greens on 140 yds par 3's with minimal effort using my 7. The group I was playing with even made comments like "how do you hit it so relaxed?" and finished the round with 96 but I'm sure if I played the whole round like the last 9 it would've gone a lot better. ... show more

With so many reviews stating that only one club was received instead of a complete set, I wanted to acknowledge that I received all of the clubs I ordered. Took two weeks to receive, but at least the order was accurate. Clubs were exactly what I expected, but I also knew it would take some time to get used to the graphite shaft. After playing with steel shafts for 40 years, I have to basically re-learn a new swing. Swinging a much lighter club is different. Ball feels great off the face, more distance, and much more bite on the green. I have always hit the ball with a lot of height, so I have always held greens, but hoping this will give some increased backspin. ... show more

I have played 2 rounds with the graphite shaft and at points it seems somewhat hollow. it is light to swing but at times does not produce the distance on my former irons. I know it's still early and I'm trying to trust my distance and contact.

So I’m unsure why there has been so many reviews of orders not being complete when delivered. I orders these to upgrade my iron set which were incredibly overdue. I went with the 5-PW, AW Alloy Steel Regular Flex and couldn’t be more pleased with the quality. From the irons face up to the grips Taylormade really did a phenomenal job! After owning the R11 for some time I decided to get new clubs. The R11 were so enjoyable that I decided to to stay with TaylorMade. Initially I was looking at M4's but eventually decided on these SIM 2's and I don't regret it for a minute. Good distance and control even on mishits.

Everything arrived as expected - all 7 clubs. Was nervous because of the other reviews, but that must be another seller because there was no issue here. Packed very nicely and secure in foam holders. Each head was protected in plastic wrap. Excited to get these out to the range and then course.
