The tassel fit perfectly into the ornament. The directions were not easy to follow. It took time to get it in but while doing it the tassel cording got a little messed up. I believe it is hidden though. It came as 2, so I will be gifting the other to a recent graduate as a nice bonus gift.

Beautiful glass ornaments! The opening is big enough for the graduating year charm to fit trough. The only disappointment was that as soon as I picked it up to admire my handiwork, the ornament dropped and broke into a gazillion pieces since the knot on the ribbon was not tied.
