  • Will not start. Electrical issue.
$900 pile of garbage. Bought this for my son and cannot get a spark from the plug. replaced the spark plug, cdi box and ignition coil and still no spark. Cannot find a motorcycle mechanic who will touch a chinese made bike. Cannot return it. Wish I had never wasted my money on this.

  • Great beginner dirt bike! Even for a 35 year old beginner!
I mainly bought this due to the inexpensive price as it was the lowest price shipped for an adult size bike. I've been riding street bikes for 7 years and some of my friends got into dirt bikes so I wanted something cheap to try out and see if I liked it without breaking the bank. This dirt bike came by carrier truck and was on a pallet with a cardboard box around the outside of a metal frame. It was mostly assembled but I had to install the back shock, front wheel, and the handlebars. But being meticulous and slow and using blue loctite on the bolts it took me about 2 hours to put it together but again I was being slow and careful. There are no instructions on putting it together but I watched some videos online and the rest was self explanatory. One major fault on the assembly was for some reason the bolt for the back shock was missing, I have no idea why one of the most important nuts was not included, unless it rattled off in shipping, but another reviewer said the same happened to them. It was inconvenient and took 2 trips to Lowe's to get the right bolt size and then used loctite on the back bolt. I have not officially taken it to any tracks or the mountains just yet, but I have been mobbing around the grassy areas by my house and on cemented trails and on the school green grass fields. It seems to do well. I will say on city streets don't expect a smooth ride like a street bike, these knobby tires ride rough. Also don't expect to do any major leaning on the streets too, the front tire nearly slid out on me trying to make a sharper turn on the street. Something I dislike which may be like this for all dirt bikes but as this is my first so I don't know, but it seems quite narrow. So I mainly ride it sitting down as when I stand up the pegs are so close together it doesn't feel like I can get a sturdy grip or stance. Maybe I'm just used to the width of my street bike. You can definitely tell that this is not a super high end bike, and many of the parts are cheap and easily breakable and scratch easily. For instance I accidentally tapped the wheel trying to move my street bike in the garage and the bike tipped over and the front brake lever snapped in half. You can tell the metal is cheap when you see what it looked like snapped in half. However I knew most of this and it was to be expected. I wasn't anticipating a $4000 Japanese bike with a better build. I just wanted a cheap bike to see if I'd like riding dirt. Aside from some minor flaws, the missing shock bolt, cheap materials, and some easily broken parts, this is a super fun bike and is definitely a good choice for a beginner wanting to get their feet into the world of dirt biking without spending thousands only to find out you don't like it or don't have the time to get out as much as you thought. Also remember to follow the break in period. Which is in the instructions. It comes with shipping oil in the engine, which is fine to keep in the motor at first. You need to ride around for 25-30 minutes and keep the speed under 25mph and the rpms low so as to work the motor in gently. Then come back home and change the shipping oil for 10w40. I ended up riding it around my housing community a total of 25 times which was about 30 minutes and kept it at lower rpm nice and slow then changed the oil. I had extra 10w40 left from my street bike. It took under a quart. I've ridden it maybe another 25 miles or so since so it'll be due for another quick change shortly as the instructions mentioned changing it again and then it should be good for a while. I'm not sure how often you are supposed to change dirt bike oil honestly but I imagine it isn't like a street bike that can go 3000 miles. As for gas, the tank is about 1.5 gallons I'd say and I have only gone through a gallon thusfar. I have no idea what that equates to in mpg, maybe 45mpg or so??? Also I could not find anywhere whether it should take regular (85 octane here in Colorado) or if I should be putting in premium gas (91 here) or of that affects the performance or anything with the motor. Remember as well to properly maintain and check it after riding around especially at first, to make sure all the bolts are tight. I retightened all the factory installed bolts, and then for anything I had to put together myself, I bought blue loctite to keep things from shaking loose as this thing does shake a bit when riding (probably the knobby tires on the street). Luckily my chain came super tight so I haven't had to adjust it at all as others have had to do. But do beware to check the tire pressure after shipping. Mine was at 8psi per tire so I inflated them to 32psi and left it at that as I'm not sure what it should actually be at. BTW I am 5 foot 9 and 165 pounds and this bike fits me well, the seat is comfortable and the bike gets up and goes as fast as I need it to, nothing crazy, but definitely a fun bike to get started on! It's definitely not for a smaller kid, get the DB14 110cc for kids but this would be good for say a teenager and up. It's light and easy to control and maneuver. ... show more

  • An affordable Bike
This bike is nice.... But it does take self maintenance, it comes about 90% assembled, I had to put on the front tire, the handle bars, the back brake, and the rear shock spring needed to be bolted in. *The reasons I gave this bike 3 stars: the bolt to the back shock did not come with a nut(it cost me 56cents) not bad but inconvenient The gas line was pinching when u turn the handle bars to the right(causing it to rev in right turns) so my husband had to adjust that which caused another issue which we will have to look into fixing today. All & all it seems to be good for the cost, like many reviews on this bike if you don't mind the maintenance I would recommend buying it. ... show more

  • Very good price and super fun to ride.
It is a really good little pit bike for learning but the size is a bit to big for kids overall a really nice bike Im like 5-11 and 210 lbs it hauls me around like nothing I suggest you get this especially for the price.

  • The savings are not worth the frustration.
Not sure if I got a lemon but this bike has been nothing but trouble since I got it starting with the wrong front brake rotor being installed on the bike when I received it. I had to get a replacement rotor from the company which took two tries since they shipped the wrong rotor the first time. I've had the bike for less than 2 months and other parts have worked lose and fallen off requiring replacement. I don't recommend this bike unless you are handy with tools and don't mind a lot of work to keep it running. ... show more

  • Awesome bike!
Awesome bike! Full of power, which is why I didn’t give a full 5 stars for a beginners bike. It’s been rode hard since we assembled it and absolutely no issues.

  • I say pull the trigger on this!
For the ridiculous price, this thing is amazing. I am 6’ 2”, 200 lbs and I’m doing jumps and ripping up a trail I built just for this bike. The bad parts: rear shock - no rebound - replaced that. carb - not tuneable - replace with Mikuni VM22 (good luck with the jetting!) Overall a blast, as you are putting it together you will notice some sloppy craftsmanship and quality but when its all together, pretty awesome! Baby that engine during break-in! ... show more
