I bought the 220 version because thats what my previous heater had. After deciphering the wiring ...just a bit confusing because my unit has a side sticker that says its 220, but the wiring diagram instructions were for a 110 set up. And being a china version i can understand their wire code is different than ours. but it was easily hooked up and after playing with the controls, it works great. the only thing that i would like is that if this could have an automatic "on/off" setting. i manually need to turn it on. i'll just need to make sure i turn it off if i leave for a few days, just for piece of mind. its on standby most of the time. but heats pretty fast to set temperature. i like it. ... show more

    • FINALLY I can take a shower in the camper that lasts longer than 4 minutes, LOVE it!

Anyone who has a camper will probably be able to relate to this: the water heater in campers is so small that when you take a shower, you get wet and then you turn the water on the shower head off while you soap up and shampoo because if you left it running, you'd be showering in freezing cold water well before you were done with your shower. Showering in an rv is a completely different experience for most than showering at home. Unless the rv is equipped with an on demand water heater like this one, that is. Our camper didn't come equipped with one, but when I saw this one I immediately ordered it for the camper. And WOW! Instant on demand water heaters are everything they are cracked up to be. It's small and compact, which matters in a camper bathroom since there's barely enough room to turn around. With some basic electrical knowledge, it's fairly easy to install. The water gets hot, and it stays hot - and it can be turned up to be really hot if you like it that way, or it can be turned way down to ensure that no one gets scalded. No more waiting 15 minutes between showers waiting for the little water heater to recover. The temp can be set where we like it. The display is large and clear. It has built in leak and safety features. Should've put one of these in years ago, they are absolutely a must have for the camper IMO. ... show more
