They don't heat up for crap. If you want 60 degree water these are for you. If you want actual warm water look elsewhere. I am building a tiny home, and this has been a super helpful addition to put under the sink in the kitchen. Very fast hot water, and it’s actually hot! This would make a good addition to any sink that doesn’t get insta hot water.

The media could not be loaded. Purchased this unit to replace a 2.5 gallon under sink water heater. After hooking up blue side on the supply and red to the faucet, turned it on and up to max temp. The unit would only bring the water temp 10 degrees and then it will drop. Followed the trouble shooting instructions and there is no help nor much that can be done if it's not working. I have mixed feelings about the ECOTINYMACH Tankless Water Heater Electric 110V, 3000W. Because I received this without charge for the Amazon Vine program, I made the decision that it would probably be ok for the hand wash station I set up, which was near both a water source as well as an electrical panel. It does provide minimally warm water for this purpose, and I shut off the power when I'm not using it. So it kinda works for me, but I have reservations about recommending it. Let me explain. First, this is an unlisted water heating appliance. What that means, essentially, is that you're putting your trust in the manufacturer's statements about safety, both fire and electrical. Listed appliances have been examined and rigorously tested to UL standards, which have, for many years, been the standards used for appliances in North America. That's why I'm shutting mine off when I'm not washing my hands. Second, I recommend that you consider the overall cost before deciding. If you're going to have a 30 amp, 120 volt circuit installed, you can double the heating capacity by purchasing a 240 volt water heater. The electrical work will cost essentially the same because this will also be a 2-wire circuit with the same size wire, The difference will be about $10 for two-pole breaker instead of single pole. If there's room in your electrical panel, you can benefit by doing this. Lastly, if you still want to go with this product, take a close look at the illustration provided by the seller entitled "How Hot Water Can We Get?" (attached) and make sure that will work for you. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Great little heater, but you can't use it on an automatic faucet easily. Somewhere inside, it has a sensor that shuts off on water flow, and doesn't start again until a few seconds into the cycle. This prevents you from getting hot water. One a regular faucet, it works great if you keep the flow rates low. This is perfect for the single sink in a work area, where you wash your hands and don't like freezing water. It ramps up after the timer starts, and fast enough you actually DO get hot water, or whatever temperature you set it at. It IS made to be wired into a dedicated circuit, not a plug in the wall item. Run a single circuit, and you're fine. Once I got the unit off the sensor faucet, it really did shine. Now don't expect to get boiling water out of it, but at a reasonable hand washing temperature, you're good to go for as long as you need water heated. Pretty nice unit for a shop. ... show more

This item is very compact and will fit nicely under my wife's sink in the vanity. I did a bench test and it seems to work as advertised. Getting it to work where I want it has proved to be challenging. I'm having to run 75' of 10/2 with ground from a 2nd floor bathroom through a 1st floor wall, into a crawl space, and then up into a garage into the panel box where I have installed a 30 amp breaker. We only have a cold water source in our tiki bar in the basement, so I ordered this tankless water heater to plumb off the cold water and return the hot to the faucet. It takes very little time to heat up. I like that I can set a temp, and the water reaches temp quickly. The convenience in having hot water so that I can wash dirty dishes without having to lug them upstairs is great! I like that I didn't have to install a 220V outlet, and that this works right off of 110V! This would be great in a trailer, camper, or RV if the propane is out, but the electricity works. I love that it would give me that versatility. I'll have to order another for a backup in the camper! There are so many places at which to use this tankless water heater!
