This is the greatest investment in furniture I have made for a long time. I was incredibly hesitant to purchase this desk because I knew it was made out of particle board and a lot of the reviews said it fell apart, was hard to put together, and was not worth the money. I found the instructions very easy to follow and I completed the assembly in under an hour. The material is on the less expensive side, BUT still serviceable and did not break as I put it together. I was able to mount the fully assembled cabinet desk to the wall with ease by myself. I’ve been using the desk every day for work for six months now and it’s a big life saver since my partner and I are now working remotely from home in a small apartment. I absolutely love it’s size, the price, the clean look, and it’s sturdiness. The only negative I have for it is the gold hook shaped hardware clasp that holds the folded up desk table in place is flimsy plastic (not metal) and feels like it’s going pop off any day now. I needed a table for my nail supplies, but I didn't have much space in my room, so I decided to use this table. That's great! When it hangs, it stays hooked and looks sturdy enough, super space saving, and I'm able to fit a lot of stuff on the shelf. Very practical work!

It wasn't too easy to put together because it's rather cheap quality (but you do get what you pay for), but it went from okay to bad when a key piece to hanging the desk was broken. I had to make a decision of going through the hassle of returning it or crossing my fingers for a replacement was actually worth it, and then finally decided to try for a replacement since the time putting it together was already lost. What a relief it was to receive excellent customer service from Tangkula! I sent them a late-night Friday message (during COVID-19 lockdown too) and they responded almost instantly. I had the replacement hardware by Tuesday on my doorstep. Very impressive. As for the desk, I love being able to close up my desk when I'm done with work. I purchased this floating desk before the COVID-19 lockdown, and it really turned out being a great purchase. The only thing I would like to point out is that you can't keep anything in the folder slots when you close it up. This means that I have to take out everything that's in the desk slots and place my work folders in a box. I also suggest that you make sure to open the desk carefully because you can easily hurt your fingers and/or the desk can swing down and break the desk, or do damage to your floor. I pinched my finger the first time using it, so I'm extra careful opening the desk now. It takes awhile to put it together AND hang it correctly, but overall, I'd say it's turned out being worth the time and price. ... show more

The Picture Pages provided were a bit harder to understand on the assembly, but you could definitely get it done if you have assembled things in the past. Not enough screws were included, but luckily i had some on hand. The wall anchors were also terrible Bent when trying to tap in, but again i provided my own. I installed this in my bathroom and fold down each morning to use as a vanity. I put all of my makeup brushes in the angled slats, and makeup and lotions on the little shelves. I have plenty of room for my items. I had a bench from a previous vanity that i just store underneath the closed unit and it fits very nicely at the back of my master bathroom. Perfect for what i need. Better than expected. Should have measure the "hang height" a bit more accurately, because we hanged it a bit too high, and the table kind of tilts forward when opened. I will probably put a decorative wood block under it to make it level when i unfold in the future. It is not "off" so badly that anything rolls off or at all. The idea of the product is amazing BUT putting it on my wall was very very incredibly hard. The quality of the desk was pretty good but the screws and white things are too small and just not great. The thing to close the layers is also not good quality tbh, it looks and feels cheap. I honestly don’t recommend this product if you are planning to put it in yourself because putting it on is a 3 or more people job. The instructions are extremely unclear and confusing. For one part they didn’t even point out that I had to put another piece on and sense they didn’t point it out I didn’t know what piece it was. I had to sit for several minutes trying to think about what they meant. Even after I found out what I had to do, my sister and I still failed to put it up. Another thing is that the measurements were completely off. It said 56 1/2 inches above the wall and once my sister and I were ready to put it on it was completely off. I didn’t do the measuring but my sister did and she is a protectionist so she made sure it was that exact measurement above. I’ve put on several stuff before like this and all the other products were nothing like this. If i could I would call professionals to put it up. ... show more

This buy was all that I asked for. I was able to assemble and mount on the wall by myself with no real issues. I agree with many that the directions were not as robust as one might hope but after assembling many items in my past, I was able to get it on the first try. I love how it fits in my room. I also bought a vanity stool from Amazon that is the perfect height for the desk. Couldn’t be happier. ... show more
