I bought this tamagotchi while on a nostalgia train and it satisfies the itch! the worst part about the item is the beeping when it’s hungry or bored or whatnot. BUT you can turn it off by pressing the first and last button. Great buy!

Excited at first.. Check age appropriateness, 5 is too young. Beware you have to care for this little ‘pet’ day and night , would not turn off as it was made for constant attention or you’re a bad mother.

I never actually had a Tamagotchi when I was a kid, so I got one as an adult. I attached it to my water bottle to help remind me to hydrate. I really like the design of this shell, it’s super cute! My only downside for this as a toy, is that there is not a whole lot to do with it. You can play 1 game with your tamagotchi, which is a higher-or-lower number guessing game. Besides that, you are checking in with and caring for your tama multiple times everyday. There are a handful of different tamas you can get depending on your level of care. Because of the simplicity, I lost interest in it after a couple of months and have been researching more modern tamagotchis and waiting on new releases. This is not to say that this tamagotchi is bad, it is a remake of the Gen 2 original tamagotchis after all. Like I said, it’s really cute and makes a great keychain. ... show more
