My 18month old doesn't really interact with this. I brought it because she's not saying actual words just bowel sounds. I however think it's okay. The cards read the correct words and it charges fast. I'm hoping this helps in the futre

This is a perfect size for little hands. My Grandson loves it. The cards are made of a very strong plastic. Making it easy for little ones to insert the cards. The only negative thing I can say is I wish there was sound on ALL animals.
