  • It was great while it worked.
This cash register was not the cheapest. I thought it was expensive, but it was the #1 item on my granddaughter's Christmas list. After seven months of use, it no longer turns on. This is so disappointing considering the amount of money paid. It should still be working. It also has broken a four-year-old's heart. ... show more

  • Just okay
I bought this register for my son just before he turned 2, so a little before the suggested age range. He had fun playing with the food items and the scanner, but it wasn't really what I wanted for him. The scanner had randomized vocalizations and I was hoping for something a little more educational, like counting and adding totals as you scan or something like that. He enjoyed it for a little while, but after a few months lost interest. It's not a bad toy, it just wasn't very engaging. ... show more

  • My kids love it!
So i originally ordered this item for my 6 year old son. I have 4 kids and our basement is filled with play kitchens and little fake food toys. I had thought that my 8 year old and 10 year old daughters would be a little too big for this toy, but they play with it more than my son does!! This talking cash register is really sturdy and durable, its definitely gotten smashed around a bit and it works great. My girls LOVE how the little microphone thing works- all day long i hear them saying stuff like "clean up in aisle 2!!" and "price check i need a price check!" Its really cool how all the stuff has barcodes on it- when you scan bananas itll pop up on the screen bananas 2 .99 its alot more sophisticated than any register weve had before. We also had alot of fun with the sheet of barcodes- the kids had a blast peeling the barcodes off the sheet and placing them on all of our old toy foods so that we can scan all our old stuff too. I would definitely recommend this product, its really cool how everything scans and pops up on the screen. It comes with a whole bunch of food, a sheet of extra barcodes, fake money, and everything scans on the register and pops up on the screen. Its honestly like a real life cash register that you would see in a grocery store ... show more

  • It’s decent
My niece and nephew can sit and play with this for hours at a time. Sometimes I too stay at their store a little longer than I intended. This cash register is nice in comparison to others I’ve seen on the market. It has a lot of realistic details and capabilities. It’s a little smaller than I expected though. ... show more

  • Decent pretend play set; some size issues and price is high
The media could not be loaded. This is a little decent pretend play set. It’s smaller than expected but does come with a few accessories like food, drinks, play money and extra barcodes to put on random toys. I did like the play money it came with however the dollar bills were too big to put into the drawer, so they can’t really use it and I can’t cut it down to size without ruining the design so that wasn’t really done right. The small scanner on the machine is a hit and miss and sometimes displays 0 or random numbers. The credit card swipe makes noise like when you actually swipe at the store, so that was realistic. It wasn’t until after that I realized the actual buttons on the machine are a working and functioning calculator so my daughter did like that. There is also a working microphone, which is fun when she plays with her sister and needs to make announcements. The small boxes are thin cardboard and they already seem to be falling apart after a day, so not great (could have been plastic like the other toy items). The quality overall is decent but this is definitely not worth the $40 price tag. The size and some items are just not up to quality for an item priced at this price. If it was down $10, it would reflect the quality. Still a decent set. ... show more

  • My son loves his new toy
So The 1st picture on this toy shows a good amount of pieces like the basket, the vegetables and a few other things but thats not what comes in the box, What we got was a 24 pc set but I mean either way my son likes it and plays with it. He likes to talk on the microphone, its so cool that the scanner actually scans and makes the noises. It came with some barcode stickers and supposedly when you scan the price automatically comes up but when we scan the ones we got no price comes up so they were useless but maybe it was just ours that were defective. Overall my son gets entertained with it so im happy ... show more
