  • Truly well designed and accurate automatic diver watch.
TAG Heuer Aquaracer 500 (WAK2110) is a truly amazing watch. I owned many watches in my life and I am of a bit a watch geek, so I can be a little tough when reviewing watches. Here is a short of it: The TAG Heuer Aquaracer is superb watch. It has nice heft to it and 41mm case has just about right wrist presence on my 7.25" wrists. Both, the case and the bracelet, are a finely machined and fitted together. The bracelet is absolutely amazing and the clasp design is first class, too. The links fit tightly together, without any side-way play. This is what separates luxury divers from lot of entry level ones (under $1,000): attention to detail and tight manufacturing tolerances. The unidirectional timing bezel turns just with enough resistance and is properly aligned. Sapphire glass is AR treated and really lets the watch dial shine. After 6 months of owning the Aquaracer still keeps great time, +1 sec/day. The movement inside, Calibre 5, is a derivative of the classic and time proven ETA 2824-2 that any competent watchmaker can service in future. The watch still looks like new despite wearing it almost daily, wearing to sauna and swimming and showering with it, too. The only slight minus is a little too small crown for my fat fingers, a little slippery when winding the watch. I just prefer bigger crowns;) Very much recommended. ... show more

  • Three Stars
The power reserve is barely sufficient for 7 hours

  • I like it, but I could love it with one detail.
It's a nice watch for sure. Solid quality all around. The one point that TAG missed, which surprises me, is that is a bit too easy to turn the bezel. Only divers would notice that, but at this price, you should expect TAG to delivery a bezel that was secure. This is how you know how much time you have left before you are out of air. Not a small matter. When I wear the watch just at work, I look down and note from time to time that I have bumped the bezel and it turned a bit. Now the way they design it, it will only turn one way. Which means you will never have less air than you think. However, you could come up or have more air than the watch says if you bump it while digging on the bottom or swimming. That is the kind of detail that a watch of this quality should not miss. ... show more

  • Warning do NOT buy expensive watches from Amazon
They do not stand behind these watches as you would expect. Purchase a Tag watch from them. After returning it for the second time I got it back. Wore it two weeks and it literally fell apart as I picked it up to put it on. Took it to a local Tag dealer which was insistent the watch should be replaced after not being properly sealed in this manner. Amazon REFUSED to stand behind their warranty and is refusing to replace or refund the watch. Do not invest the money thinking Amazon has any intention of offering an adequate warranty with these expensive watches. ... show more

  • Great deal, great timepiece
The watch is a solid piece that I purchased almost 6 months ago. Loses very little time over a month (less than a minute for sure). Use care when screwing the crown in, as some folks have had issues with crowns stripping (same problems exist with Omega, and other high end watches). This one is dressy enough for me to wear with almost anything...but also wears fine with T-Shirt. I am hard on watches, and this one has held up amazingly well. No scratches on the face, despite accidental bumps on hard surfaces. There wasn't a brick and mortar store near me and the seller online here offered a 2 year warranty with the watch. I'll take the money I saved on the watch by buying here and use it if it ever needs a 'fix'. 5/5 stars. ... show more

  • still looks great
i've had this watch a few years now and it still looks like it's new. i don't have a single scratch on the bezel or crystal even though i wear this regularly. i was disappointed to learn they don't make their own movements though so i basically own a Swatch.

  • Beautifulwatch. Just won't keep time
Beautiful watch. Just won't keep time. I wear it every day but at least once a week it will have lost a lot of time during the night. I fully winnd and it will do well for a couple of days and the the same thing. There is NO power reserve, at least on mine.

  • I think it is really great product for this price
This is my first Tag Heuer. I think it is really great product for this price. Fast shipping and great packaging. There is no Tag Heuer insurance of it as it says. I went to official Tag Heuer store and checked my watch with the one in the store. I believe it is 100% authentic. It fits with casual and daily clothing. It has been 3 weeks so far but I noticed some scratches at the back of the metal wristband where Tag Heuer is written. I don't know it is normal for such a high quality brand or not. Anyways, hope it helps. ... show more
