Great rug! In my photo you can see 2 similar rugs. However, the one in the top of the photo was purchased from Bed Bath & Beyond for approximately the same price but is half the size. Additionally, the larger one has a rubberized backing which keeps it nice and flat (unlike the one in the top of the photo). I wasn't sure what to expect with this bathmat, as microfiber bathmats can sometimes feel cheap, and it's hard to buy home linens online. But I was impressed! The first thing I noticed when I unpacked it was the weight - it's a lot thicker and heavier than other bathmats I've had. This isn't like the average mat you'd pick up at a discount store like TJ Maxx or HomeGoods. The shag texture is thicker than I expected - each shag sticks out about 3/4", which is hard to see from the photos. It looks expensive in person, and I'm happy to report that it doesn't feel "cheap" at all. The seams around the edges are also sturdy and well sewn. I've had other mats unravel in the washer (a Target brand one once came out in complete shreds) but I don't think this will be a problem with this one. The product has a nice textured backing, and it doesn't slip even on my tile floors, which are super slippery. The non-slip backing covers the entire back, unlike some other mats where it's just sort of dotted on. The fabric is nice and warm and cozy, but is still absorbent (the most important thing for a bathmat!). Some microfiber rugs tend to pick up lint and fuzz really easily, but I haven't had that issue with this one (I haven't washed it yet but I'll probably only wash it with whites just in case). I also appreciated the size, which covered a good portion of my tiny bathroom floor without being too big. It's about the size of your average doormat. In fact, the material is so plush you could totally use it as a doormat, or as a throw rug in your kitchen, or in other places where you need a small rug. The white looks more like a bathmat, but the other colors could easily pass for a regular rug. The only negative I can think of is that this might not be the bathmat for you if you're worried about fall/trip hazards, as the shag is thicker than some and an older person could potentially trip over it if it were left on the floor. Full disclosure - I was given this product by the company in exchange for honest feedback to them (with no expectation of a published review). But I was actually shopping for a new bathmat anyway, and I'm a serious bargain hunter. I wouldn't recommend it if I didn't think it was well worth the price, and I'm planning on ordering the bigger size when I move to my next apartment. ... show more

Haven't had to wash it yet, so can't say how well it'll hold up in the washing machine. But it's a very soft rug, looks great in my bathroom too! I'm not one of those people who can dry off in the shower before stepping out because I hate when my towel accidently touches the wall or floor of the shower so I prefer to step out and towel off. Unfortunately that usually means getting water all over the wood floors of the bathroom which can get slippery and uncomfortable. Since getting these mats I really haven't had this issue, they absorb water so quickly and effectively that even while I'm standing on them dripping water they don't feel wet. I'm very impressed with them. My cats really like them too because they're so soft and sometimes I just find them taking a nap in the bathroom lying on the rug, they don't even notice when it's wet since it dries so quickly. This mat is unlike the other microfiber mats I've purchased. The build quality is superior and the soft microfiber is very absorbent and dries your feet as soon as you step on it instead of struggling to get your feet to dry when out of the shower. The mat is huge and the color accent is very smooth and deep color. The depth of the microfiber stitch is about an inch deep and very easy to clean with a vacuum cleaner. I absolutely love that the mat comes with a hard rubber non slip grip which is ideal for hardwood floors. No more non slip grip mats for your rugs. Pros: 1. Soft microfiber cloth lining. 2. Vibrant color composition 3. Insanely huge mat for the price, so more floor cover. 4. Dust-off easily 5. Highly absorbent and dries out fast. 6. Very durable. Cons: 1. None I could think of so far. I was very skeptical at first, as most microfiber bathmats can feel cheap, and just being online it's hard to buy home linens. To my surprise I was impressed when I first open my package. The first thing I notice was how soft both mats were and the weight. They felt similar to some of the nicer mats you can find at discount store like TJ Maxx or HomeGoods. I liked the shag texture since it is thicker than I expected and each shag sticks is about 3/4" tall approx. Both mats have a textured backing covering the entire mats that helps them stay in place on wood (laminate floors). The fabric is very absorbent and doesn't feel wet, my previous mat felt wet anytime you would step on it after showering. Somehow with this mat, you can't really feel it when is wet, like a super nice towel that dries you perfectly without feeling your towel soak. [disclosure - I received this product by the company in exchange of my honest feedback. I was not in the market for a mat but knew I would eventually need one. I was genuinely surprise with the quality as most "free products" tend to be just average? I wish I would have chosen the bigger mat instead of the two pieces but now I can actually purchase the bigger one and I know what I will be getting] ... show more
