These sheets are absolutely wonderful. They are so soft and silky. The fabric is not thin or flimsy, I anticipate it holding up well despite the big dogs sharing our bed. I got the blue, and the color is as pictured and absolutely beautiful, with the slightest sheen. They wash well, I have washed them two or three times with no hint of pilling, and I don’t expect to have any issues with that, it doesn’t seem to be that type of fabric. The pillow cases are perfectly sized, and fit standard/queen size pillows well and have nice envelope ends. This is a long review, but what you really need to know is that these sheets are amazingly soft, well made, and totally worth the purchase price. Full details below. The first thing I noticed about the sheet set was how heavy they were. I was expecting an Amazon delivery of canned food, and at first I thought that had been delivered when in fact it was the sheets. There is a lot of high-quality fabric here! The fabric is very thickly woven. Unlike other Amazon sellers, the high thread count is not an advertising stunt - these actually have a very tight weave, and I have no doubt the thread count is accurate. For reference, I'd say these are almost twice as heavy as the cotton sheets I purchased at a similar price point. The second thing I noticed was nicely they were packaged. This company always does a beautiful job with package presentation, and these sheets were no exception. If you are thinking of giving these as a gift they'd be perfect, and they definitely have a nice presentation quality that's missing from sheets you'd buy in a vinyl bag at a department store. They come in a large plastic ziploc bag (that is sturdy enough to be re-used for other storage) and the sheets themselves are wrapped in a Tafts branded drawstring bag (which would be perfect as a travel bag for laundry or other small items if you don't need it to store the sheets in). The laundering instructions are printed right on the bag in a large font. (This would make them ideal for an older person who has trouble reading tiny tags.) I know many people are hesitant to buy linens online without being able to feel them, and I myself have had several bad experiences with other brands of sheets. (If you are reading this and considering cheaper sheets that "might work", do yourself a favor and buy these. Trust me, after months of putting up with ugly and scratchy sheets until I got these I can say it's absolutely not worth it.) I also have found that products advertised as "bamboo" sometimes have a rayon/polyester feeling to them that can feel cheap in person. So I was especially curious to get these. I was honestly shocked when I opened the package. These sheets are the softest sheets I have ever felt, and I'm not just saying that! These are on par or better than those at even the fanciest hotels. And they aren't soft like "I put too much fabric softener" soft, they're soft but they have a bit of a subtle texture to them. Basically, they feel more like silk than bamboo. Like other Tafts products I've tried, the seams are well sewn. The seam allowances are perfect, the lines are straight, and the stitching is even and tightly spaced. I didn't notice any crooked corners or loose threads. This is a rarity for sheets, which are often sewn rather haphazardly due to their large size. Given how plush the fabric is I'm sure these will last a very long time. The sheets fit my Full sized mattress perfectly - no weird triangular bumps at the corners. The color is also exact to what is represented online - they are a gorgeous pure white in person, and match the other white Tafts products perfectly if you want a complete set. The plush bathmat looks very nice with them - I may use it as a rug at the foot of the bed for an extra cozy touch. Note that these are a cool white, not an ivory. These sheets would be perfect for anyone who runs a vacation rental, and they'd be an impressive addition to a guest bedroom. They are definitely well worth the price considering the exceptionally high quality and the fact that they will almost certainly last for many years without wearing out. As someone who has now purchased 3 sets of sheets in the past year, I can say you can definitely save money in the long run by ordering these! This is long but hopefully thorough! Before buying Taft's bamboo sheets I looked around for similar items to compare. Regarding the Tafts sheets, I very much like the idea of the 100% organic bamboo, no harmful chemicals used in the processing of the fabric, the fact that it is soft, cooling and even stating that it's moisture wicking and thermo-regulating. I've had bamboo sheets in the past and really enjoyed using them, but they didn't last long and began ripping after some months of use. I don't tend to get fixated on the thread count, and even though Taft says 400 thread count, I do know that depending on the type of fiber it can still be very soft and sturdy. This is what I hope the Tafts sheets will provide: sturdy yet soft sheets that can last over time. I also appreciate that Tafts states that it can fit extra deep mattresses up to 17 inches, and the fact that it comes with one fitted, one flat sheet, and two pillow cases. As I compared other similar bamboo sheet sets online, some do not contain the flat sheet since I guess some people no longer use that. I still prefer to have the flat sheet included. What was interesting to read with other brands was the information for where the bamboo was sourced — it is a little more obvious to find than on Taft's description. For the Tafts sheets, I finally found that it states in the Product Information chart that the country of origin is China. Like many sheets, it appears that they are designed in the US and the bamboo is sourced in China. This is good to know and information that should easily be found. Some other competitors also clearly mention some specific details such as no heavy metals used in the processing of the sheets, no phthalates, and mention the flammability. I did not see these very specific mentions under Tafts and I think for the general public, it would be fine without mentioning these, but some people may want to know. I purchased a set of California King sheets earlier in October. It arrived quickly and I immediately washed it as per the directions in cold water. There was a large amount of lint on my lint screen after I dried the sheets on low. While this may not be significant, I don't usually see this amount of lint on new sheets. I went to make my bed and the sheets barely fit my 15 inch standard mattress depth-wise; while Tafts sheet feel sturdy, I thought I may still rip the sheets at each corner. While I was finally able to get the whole set on, I eventually took it off after a few days because I was worried I would rip the corner seams with normal sleeping movement. I returned the first set and purchased another set to try and see if it would be the same or not. The second set of sheets were washed in cold water and dried on low, in the same manner as the first set; I had the same large amount of lint on my lint screen so maybe it's just something that these bamboo sheets do the first time around. While the depth of the second set of sheets fit my 15 inch mattress better, it was still tight and a very tight stretch across the whole sheet to reach all four corners. I do remember that bamboo sheets can stretch a bit over time, so I ended up keeping the second set of sheets. After having used the sheets on my bed for over a couple of months now, I find them to be extremely comfortable and soft to sleep on. I am not too certain about the cooling or moisture-wicking properties of this particular bamboo sheets though. While I run warm, but not hot, I don't find them to be thermal regulating at all. Overall, the color choices are beautiful, the fact that they are organic bamboo is wonderful, the 400 TC feels more sturdy than the bamboo sheets I had years ago, and they feel lovely to sleep on. They realistically fit smaller than described because they barely fit my 15 inch mattress and certainly cannot fit a 17 inch mattress. Otherwise, if thermal regulating and cooling is not important for someone then these could be a lovely set of sheets to have. ... show more

I was skeptical about bamboo sheets when I ordered these, but I really love them. They are soft and satiny. They feel cool to the touch. They don’t feel hot and sweaty like synthetics do. I got the soft grey color and it’s so pretty. I’ve had zero problems with the sheets. They came beautifully packaged and would make a lovely gift. I’m sold on bamboo sheets now.
