It's stylish, warm, soft (especially the liner), and it's highly functional...meaning that unlike a lot of jackets with a bunch of apparent buttons and pockets, every single button can be unbuttoned and every pocket is an actual pocket. Nothing is just for show, EXCEPT... ....these dorky patches. "Outdoor". "Challenge". Lol...OK. Been meaning to swing this jacket by a tailor sometime to make sure they can remove the patches without damaging the jacket. It's not a huge deal so I haven't done that yet, but if I can get these patches off then it's definitely one of my top two or three jackets I've owned. Seriously everything else about the jacket feels premium and I'm surprised it wasn't double the price for the quality. Also because it's so big/soft/warm, it's a great jacket to pull out when you're hanging out with the girlfriend who inevitably gets cold and asks for a jacket. I bought a large Blue jacket. I was a bit concerned that the large would have arm length that would be too short but it doesn't. The arm length is perfect and I generally wear XL clothes so a large worked out perfect. I am 6' 195 with long arms and this jacket fits like a glove. Comfortable and warm, the side hand pockets are small and not insulated, remaining pockets are good size. Would like it to have way to tighten the bottom of coat to prevent wind infiltration. Overall happy with purchase and will be my winter coat going forward.

I bought this jacket for my husband. He hates wearing heavy bulky coats. Here in Texas the weather is 90 degrees one minute and busting pipes cold the next. He was wearing a hoodie on the cold days. This jacket is warm. It has a nice fuzzy lining that keeps in the heat but is thin enough for him to wear comfortably. It has plenty of pockets to hold everything you can think of.     • Overall good quality - but damaged, and iffy style choice that is masked in the photos on Amazon.

This one just showed up. It used "soft" Amazon and manufacturer patching, so it was wrinkled to the point that it needed either an iron, or time in a dryer (which incidentally is against the instructions on the tag). Problem: Other reviewers have noticed the patches that are very carefully not shown in the Amazon photos. But when you're looking at the thing...yeah, they're there. Also they stick up enough that they may be a catch-and-tear issue. Mine actually showed up damaged with a tear along a long edge of the patch, showing the interior construction. Replacement is on the way, but the best-case scenario is that it'll be in good condition but with those two ridiculous patches. I may hit a local hobby shop for a #11 X-Acto knife to carefully remove them by cutting the stitches one-by-one. Time-consuming but worth it. It looks like one viewer above has already done just that. So, by all appearances, five stars for the coat itself. Fabric looks good, size is great, coat seems warm with fake fur lining around chest (not the sleeves), fake-fur-lined hood is removable (if a little ridiculously large (which may not be a bad idea if you're already wearing a stocking cap or a hoodie). But. Minus 2 points for REALLY trying to hide those patches in the product photos, plus the item showing up damaged. ... show more

So glad I purchased this coat which was delivered so quickly. It arrived just in time for a real cold snap. I'm 76 years old and as many older people, I get cold easily. I live in the south where we are not used to very cold weather, at least not extended cold weather. Right after the coat arrived the night temps were in the teens with day time temps below freezing. We have two dogs that need to be walked separately early mornngs. So, I layered up, put on this coat, gloves and knit boggan and stayed warm for both walks. Maybe that doesn't impress you but I'm very impressed with this coat. It's well made and wind proof, to some degree anyway. Mine does not have a sleeve patch but does have the chest patch. I don't see the problem. Men wear t-shirts with advertisements on them all the time. It's not a big deal. Anyway, if you've taken the time to read this overly wordy review, you know I'm very happy with this coat and certainly recommend it. ... show more
