Enjoying these cameras. good subscription rate, pictures are great, okay to good user friendly on setup, great motion sensor not too many pics sent. Just the right amount. Settings pretty easy to navigate. All in all would buy again and recommend!!

This is Generation 1 of the Reveal X Pro, not the Gen 2 that came out in mid-2022. Pay a couple extra dollars and get the newer one. This package deal also comes with no charging cable, so you'll have to buy one somewhere yourself.

So...with a cell camera; you need a cellular plan. The plan you'll be getting is though TACTACAM; and you CAN pick up the phone and speak to a REAL person (stateside even)! And the can fill you in on the rather sparse information found on both the phone app and the website. I bought their unlimited HD pics and video Pro+ option. $23/month...(there are other plans as low as $5), but I just didn't want to worry about overages and extra charges that may appear secondary to HD requests, etc.; and the plans (I would suggest going month to month, as you can discontinue anytime, and reinstate anytime as well (just take note of your billing cycle date). As for the camera itself - takes decent pictures and video; consistent triggering and has great reception with AT&T on my property. My only hesitation with giving 5-stars is the lack of ability to view in real time (or near real time). If you request (from a picture posted) a video, you can get up to 15 seconds of footage. Its just that you'll be viewing that footage anywhere from 20 seconds (real fast download) to a minute (about the longest delay I've witnessed). This issue may not be within TACTACAM's purveyance to fix or improve upon, but just something I think every potential buyer should be aware of before making a purchase. Despite the shortcoming, I recommend this product...and TACTACAM, as they appear to actually care about the customer - even after they've purchased the product! Also, buy the Security Box and the Lipo Lithium Battery Pack (it has proven to be exceptional for holding a charge, especially in cooler conditions). ... show more

Operationally it works for what I need. The app is rather clunky and takes a while to learn how to navigate it. The sensitivity is good and adjustable. And, most important, the company responds to questions rather promptly.
