Very bright - I only use mine on the dimmest setting. Battery life is fine it seems, but I only use mine for short periods at a time. It's true that there's a yellow-ish ring around the light beam, but it's unnoticeable during real use. I haven't dunked mine in water, so can't say if they're waterproof. They have O-rings and they look like they should be at least water resistant. They're a bit heavy, but at least aluminum is recyclabe, while lighter plastic isn't. ... show more

Love these lights. As they contain CREE Bulbs Which is what we use in the house They are bright then most & last longer then Others. I keep one flashlight in my backpack, One in the car and one I attached to a walker For dimly lit areas. These work very wellness

These flashlights are sturdy and bright. The zoom works well. My problem is that once you turn it on you have to press the button multiple times to go through all the modes to turn it off. That's just wrong so I won't be using these.
