    • Small versatile bench vise - do consider the size before purchase
I frankly have not had a chance to torture test this vise yet, but my initial impression is that it is a durable nicely finished vise. I was a little surprised how small it is when I opened the box, but went back and looked at the ad, which does contain accurate information - so it was my mistake on size. Still, this vise comes with removable rubber jaw liners to protect delicate items, and works very quickly and smoothly after a light application of grease to the threads. The table top clamp and swivel work well and smoothly. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone who wants to add a small bench vise to their garage or shop, I would only qualify this by saying to check the dimensions to make sure they suit your needs. In the end, while this vise was a little smaller than I expected, I now think it is perfectly adequate for the light use I will give it, and I appreciate that it is not so huge as I pictured in my mind. ... show more
