It works well to hold your laptop while sitting on the couch. Because of the shape of the legs, it can slide close and you can sit back and be comfortable. But you probably already knew that and that's why you're looking at this product in the first place. So I'll tell you something you might not know. It's strong enough to hold a laptop, but probably not too much more. It's a bit on the wobbly side too, so I definitely wouldn't put a drink on it next to the computer. Also, it has a little drink holder that slides out from the side. It's super flimsy. I would never trust that thing with a drink. But it's not very expensive, so I didn't expect it to be super strong and sturdy. It does its job just fine. Here's something else you might not have known about it. This table has been featured in over 450 movies and 300 television series. I just made that part up, but it might be true. Ok, bye. ... show more

I was looking for a little table to use as a portable desk that could also be folded to save space. This really works well. The legs are adjustable and I can break it down easily to store out of the way. I love that the legs will easily slide under a chair for freedom of leg room. The tray surface easily fits my laptop and a mouse. Why not five stars? It’s not the sturdiest thing in the world. I think it works for what I intend to use it for but I’d love if it felt a little sturdier. ... show more

An okay laptop table but not the highest quality. The cup holder device broke during assembly, but we would not use it anyway. It is better than a TV tray table we were using before. While trying to find someone to re-attach the slide shelf under my desk, I needed to find something to serve the same purpose. This Table Mate II tray works great. I love that it is easily height adjustable and I can change the slant when I'm also using my iPad. Sturdier than I expected too and I use it as TV tray also.
