    • Good and bad of it
You obviously get 2 lamps in this kit, and upfront, I don't necessarily think they are worth $45 each or I would say that they are priced as high as anyone should expect to pay for these. Any higher and definitely wouldn't be worth it. They are larger in height than most lamps this price, so that is a good thing. A bad thing is the shades are typically clip and velcro type that everyone seems to make with online lamps these days. These shades, once assembled, are kind of loose and as a result, you can see some wrinkles that don't smooth out because you don't get a tight fit. Also, I think the shades should be slightly larger to match the height of the lamp base. The lamps are supposed to be a blue color, which they are, but the color is really muted more towards the clear side rather than a rich blue with a Tifanny blue look. It is more washed out than that. If I were to nitpick, I would say the vendor that supplied the shipping packaging really went cheap as well. The styrofoam packing was the absolute most thin and brittle that I have ever seen. No matter how careful you are, you will end up with a lot of small styrofoam dust (small balls) everywhere and you will have to vacuum after unboxing these lamps. I think these are good for my children's rooms, but I wouldn't use them necessarily in my adult spaces such as a guest room or a living room where I would want something with a bit more attention to detail. If I were able to do partials, these would actually be about a 3.8. Hope that helps you today. ... show more
