  • Originally designed for agricultural T Posts these finial caps can cover the sharp-edged ends of T Posts, U Posts, 34 and larger rebar, many styled of tent stakes, surveyors monuments, 12 pipe and many other sharp end hazards. While a 3 or 4 T or U post represents a danger to pets and children a 6-8 post can be a danger to horses and livestock. These all need some type of end treatment to reduce the risk of serious injury.
  • For agricultural use Tech Teams safety cap also has a vertical slot / clip for supporting hot electric wire or tape / ribbon. Since the cap is non-conductive plastic it is a perfect insulator. This retainer clasp can also be used to support or hold various types of temporary danger and warning tape at jobsites or crime scenes.
  • T post caps are made from bright safety orange plastic for high visibility. Installation is simple and tool free.
  • Includes fifteen (15) t post caps.

    • A little bit difficult to install
I had to use a rubber mallet to hit the plastic covers on top of the Tpost. I did not need to use them for the electric fence or wire, but if I had, I would not recommend these because they do not slide on directly on the back of the tpost where you need to hang the wires at. I made an arch, cattle panel greenhouse, and I use the caps on top of the Tpost so that way it would protect the shade cloth and the plastic so they would not get ripped. I would recommend these for a project like this because they are very smooth for what I needed. ... show more

Which I had them a couple months ago, would have saved trip to emergency room when I fell on post, never even thought of the post being dangerous before.

They have a built in clip for holding snow fence. Couldn’t find them in any stores near us.

    • Works on both T and U-posts
Versatile and effective, especially with the shorter U-posts that are a safety hazard. If you bent or mangled the T-post ends with a post driver or sledge, it may be more difficult, and maybe impossible, to slide these on without additional effort.

Great product! Works well on the metal post that get sharp edges from being pounded in . Will need a hammer to tap on tho
