It runs the same system as Motorola which was the first phones I was looking at, seen this one and a week later am still loving it. Vidoes run smooth and well, game play is great! For a "budget phone" I am much happier with it than I was my 250 Samsung I bought brand new. Would DEFINITELY look at one next time I need to upgrade. Terrible do not risk it . Speakers and mic not working on this refurbished. The only number available goes to the actual TMobile customer service. So when you call to trouble shoot(as required) you sound like a moron trying to fix an Amazon issue. The return process was terrible. I bought this for replacement for a friend that does not have a lot of resources. It works and they're pleased with it claiming it was better than their low-grade Samsung. I believe it's built by Motorola which I've never had problems with that brand. If you're a Super techie who likes the latest and greatest maybe not so much.
