You have to send your name, Amazon order, SIM card number, the name of the seller on Amazon, and pictures to some random email address and trust that they will not sell your information. The product description says activation can take up to 24 hours. That is a lie.

    • Works perfect! - Just follow the activation instructions!
I bought 2 of these for a recent trip to the USA. They both worked perfectly. People who have had problems with these SIMs is because they simply don't follow instructions. When you receive your SIM you are supposed to register your SIM serial code which is printed physically on the card it comes in. The seller provides a link to where you do this. You also need to specify when you need it activated by. My advice is to: 1. Make sure your phone is UNLOCKED before ordering 2. Order the SIM several weeks before departure. 3. When you register your SIM, specify you need the SIM activated at least 2 days prior to arrival. 4. Do not insert the SIM into your phone until you land in the USA 5. This might be a T-mobile SIM but do not contact t-mobile. Contact the seller directly with any issues. I made a mistake with one of the sims I bought and asked to have it activated 2 months after my trip. I asked them to activate it ASAP and in a couple of hours it was activated. I had a great experience with these SIMs. I had internet and a local phone number from the time I landed until the time I left the country. No signal problems and the internet speed was quite good.     • Good bang for your buck
I purchased this last night and I'm using it 16 hours later. I was told to check in 2 hours to see if it was activated. It was activated in about 15 minutes or less. I'm definitely satisfied and will recommend this to family and friends.

    • SLOW, so slow it's ridiculous
I had good experience/utility with previous purchase (sold by JetSet Networks) , so I hit the buy again button. But they switched seller, Amazon doesn't alert you. This one sold by this seller (the German company) is so ridiculously SLOWwwwwwwww. Although using the cellphone seems ok, I mainly use it to hotspot my laptop and I had to update my Zoom, it took 1/2 hr. As a result, I missed my Zoom meeting. :((( It often has no connection or going in and out. Just now, it can't even load Yahoo Finance. Do Not buy! ... show more

The sim card worked well for me and I received quick replies through emails for support. The only issue is it took a week before I could make calls. Data was working fine but I could not make regular phone calls or text. After a week and a few adjustments calls started working.

We bought these for our vacation in the USA (California) and it was perfect! Using Maps in the car or looking for a restaurant, our vacation wouldn’t have been as ggeat or easy without them. Easy installation, Great internet speed, great connectivity, very good value for money.
