  • Finally!
I've been eyeing this Kindle page turner for months, and finally bit the bullet and bought it. It's great! I can snuggle under my covers and read before I go to sleep. I'm not sure why there are two buttons on the remote that go forward though. I may even consider getting a second one to have one in each hand so that I could go backwards and forwards. :) Hands free reading is so cozy and warm and convenient and lazy. You can really relax and enjoy the book. The batteries last quite awhile too. Highly recommended purchase (along with a stand) for any book lovers. ... show more

  • Loved it until it just stopped working
**Revised Update: The seller quickly offered to send a replacement and I received it today. I've tried it out and it works perfectly. You don't need to hesitate to purchase this item when you know the seller will make it right in the event of a faulty unit. *Update: I have reached out to the seller to see if they will address the issue and make it right. I will update my review again if they do. I used this gadget fairly regularly for the past three months and absolutely loved it - until it simply stopped working. Just. Stopped. Working. One click and it turned the page, the next click - nothing. Initially I thought one piece or the other needed charging (although I knew both had recently been charged), but even after charging both pieces, it doesn't work. For the price - for any price, really - I would expect it to work for more than three months. I'm very disappointed. ... show more

  • Favorite book purchase
I recently purchased the Kindle remote page turner and I am extremely impressed with its performance. The device is compact and easy to use, which makes reading a lot more enjoyable and convenient. The buttons are responsive and the battery life is excellent, which means I don't have to worry about recharging it frequently. The page-turning function is smooth and accurate, allowing me to effortlessly flip through pages with just a touch of a button. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend the Kindle remote page turner to any avid reader who wants to make their reading experience even more enjoyable and convenient. ... show more

  • Works most of the time
The biggest problem with this gadget is that it comes with no instructions, and I wasn't able to find any on the web. You just have to start fiddling with it and try to figure it out yourself. Aside from that, it works well most, but not all of the time. It is meant to only turn pages forward (there is no backward function, though there are inexplicably two buttons). I have found it sometimes turns pages backwards, sometimes skips ahead two pages, and sometimes stubbornly refuses to turn a certain page at all. One of those things seems to happen ever five minutes or so. Of course, its never a crisis, you can always just reach up and perform a necessary action or corrective action by touching your device. While I would not give this product five stars based on the problems listed above, it is a very convenient way to read, paired with one of those goosenecked tablet holders. ... show more

  • Updated review: Remote doesn’t work
Very cool idea, was very excited to get this, but the remote will not charge or turn on to connect to the clip at all. Definitely a bummer Update: company sent me a replacement, and it works exactly how I was hoping it would!

  • Basic workaround for a basic proble
Syukuyu RF remote control page turner: a handheld transmitter like a slide clicker, with a clip-on receiver that simulates your touch on a capacitive screen. Rechargeable batteries in both. For an e-reader that knows only touch input, it’s the only type of remote that can work. Taps only, no swipes — and forward page turns only, unless you could have two of them using different channels. Out of the box, I found a range of 25 feet or more (line of sight). Not as foolproof as a bare finger on an average day, but close enough. You may need to fiddle with the receiving unit to get it situated on your screen. Otherwise, setup is a no-brainer. It’s annoying that the clip blocks a bit of the text you are trying to read. My Kindle has 6mm margins, so I can’t avoid this. I minimize it by position tweaking. Once the remote is up and running, moving it around or handling your device can make your screen do unexpected things. The target you are trying to “touch” can’t be centered farther than about 30mm from the *outside* edge of the screen bezel. Thickness matters too — 10mm thick is a practical maximum, and I use a piece of foam rubber as a backer to make the clip lie flat against a thin screen. It came in a nicely organized little box with instructions, a short USB-C charging cable, a wrist lanyard to challenge my assembling skills, and some thoughtful little accessories that are easy to lose. ... show more
