Giving this a 5 star solely on the merits of the TV itself. I have it on my rooftop on my town home in Texas and it faces all kinds of weather/sun/heat&freeze and has stood the test of time. (I still recommend a cover when not using) The picture is great in sun or shade. This TV has all the apps you want with a good remote and easy interface. Audio with out soundbar was decent consider outdoor TV and environment (audio will always be better inside due to physics). I am now the envy of my HOA and friends all want to come over for the games! Love this TV! Okay, now, non-TV related things to add (non factor to 5 star): - I originally bought the https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B63F7Y95/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - It arrived broke and had to work through Sylvox through the issues. They were responsive, just very annoying to receive a broken TV. - From what I could make of the first one, I am almost happy it arrived broke now, because spending the money for the Pool Pro was WAY WORTH it (better quality/apps/specs). Spend the extra money and get Pool Pro. - I also have their sound bar for the TV and have mixed reviews. ... show more

    • Good value on an outdoor TV

Sylvox TV has been good replacement for the Sunbright TV that died after only 4 years. Same size TV for half the price. Good brightness and clear picture. The only knock is the support has been half-hearted at best. All I need my Logitech Harmony remote to do is turn it on and off, as everything else is done by the AV receiver. No matter what I tried, the remote could not consistently turn the TV on and off. I tried to contact their support, and was told to buy a cheap universal remote that “might” work. I replied asking for additional assistance, but that message and subsequent followups were ignored. I then tried the same exercise with a Sofa Baton remote and hub. I contacted the Sofa Baton support and they attempted to reach out to Sylvox for assistance in controlling their TV and also received nothing. Disappointed in that, but for the price it is an excellent TV for our screen porch. ... show more

I purchased this tv in May, 30 days later it stopped working. The tv screen went black and only had sound. It took over 3 weeks to get a replacement, they refused to do a return and refund. Now I finally received a replacement and it’s not working properly. I called the support number, it hangs up on me over and over. I tried to email support, it comes back as undeliverable. The manufacturer does not respond to me and is no help. Amazon finally agreed to a return and refund, but Sylvox is charging me a $430 restocking fee for their broken tv. Since they took weeks to attempt to resolve this matter it’s passed 30 days. The manufacturer is refusing to waive the restock fee. Disappointed and annoyed is an understatement! ... show more

I purchased this TV back on July 12th 2022. I was quite pleased with the very good picture quality during the day in the sun. At night the picture quality is outstanding. I had an issue with the TV malfunctioning. It was still under warrantee and Sylvox immediately addressed the issue and sent me a replacement 2023 model. They also arranged for the return of the TV to their factory in Canada. I want to specifically thank Maggie at Sylvox for making the entire process stress free and for her excellent customer service. I would recommend Sylvox products for anyone that is looking for a quality outdoor TV reasonably priced and backed by really great customer service and support of their product. I researched up and down. This tv fit the bill and arrived in excellent condition. I chose the pool series as opposed to the pool pro knowing I was going to use my fire stick that spent time in jail and then broke out. It is heavy - 73 lbs, so get an appropriate heavy duty wall mount. I will also say that I anticipated controlling the tv with my firestick remote and initially found that Sylvox and the parent manufacturer aren’t on the supported firestick list. I searched and searched, and found that a Roku remote will support it if Polaroid or RCA is chosen, so I gave it a shot. Lo and behold, Polaroid worked! My firestick remote now controls my Sylvox TV! Also, if your concerned about visibility in full sun, I was very very pleased with the picture with the sun shining directly on it, and the only consequence of the sun was the viewing angle was minimally affected.     • a $3,000+ outdoor rated TV that dies in 4 months while kept comfortably indoor

The TV itself was good while it works. BUT it works for about 4 months. The weather has been hot lately but this is an outdoor rated TV that is kept in comfortably cool indoor. It suddenly died out of the blue. It turns on but staying in that dark screen, but you know it's on because LED TVs give off a little luminance when it is on. There's not a real reason why it would konk out. I bought a 65" and a 43" and had similar issues to both ... and these were kept comfortably indoors. Update: Someone from Sylvox did reach out to investigate the issue. After some videos and exchanges they will send me out another replacement unit for the 43". My 65" unit wound up working on its own again before support so let's see how that goes (assuming it cooled off and something reset itself). They did stand behind a good support replacement of the defective unit so I'll update my rating. Just beware that these can be finicky with heat in very hot weather and sunny locations. ... show more
