This review pertains to the Sylvox 22" Smart RV TV. I received this product two days ago, powered it up and went through very little steps to turn this TV into a great all-around experience. The picture is good; the sound is OK but "tinny." To counteract this as much as possible, I found that keeping the sound mode at "standard" and the surround mode "off," you can buffer some of that out and still get good quality sound. Also, there is plenty of ability to make this TV as loud as you want. The DC player works great and picture is also good. You can easily toggle between the four apps on the remote and return to regular TV with one click. I'm very impressed and happy with this purchase. ... show more

I needed a 22" bedroom TV on a pedestal and this TV fits perfectly. Picture quality is great. Loving that it is a smart TV. Only drawback is the sound quality. Very "tinny". Even brought in my IT son to try to adjust the sound but we couldn't get away from the "tinny" sound. But that's okay. I can live with it. ... show more

i purchased tv for my new camper.. had it for a few months in the box, went to have it installed and went camping. the first night tv worked and the second day we turned it on and the picture under the screen looked cracked. nothing hit the tv and no damage, just broke for no reason. The tv was a waste of money. I assumed since it was for campers and boats it would hold up. the most money I have ever blown on something that only worked once. when I went to return it there was a 30 day return policy. do not buy this tv and don't waste your money. the set up on the tv literally looks like dos from the 1980s. something fishy about this tv, I was misled to believe this was a good tv for a camper, but it isn't, sound is bad could not hear it the first night and picture not that great, ... show more

We purchased two Sylvox TV’s for our Motorhome from Amazon – a 24” and 32”. During our first camping trip, the 24” TV was found to be defective as it would not play any DVD’s (when a DVD was inserted, a loud humming noise was heard…the screen said “Reading” and then the DVD would just eject. Several different DVD’s were tried in the unit and all were ejected. The same DVD’s worked fine in the larger 32” TV). I sent an e-mail to Sylvox on Sunday, 5/26/24, to advise of the issue and received a response, on Monday, 5/27/24, a Holiday! It was requested I take a short video of the issue and email it back for review, which I did. I then received another email advising a replacement was on its way - I received it on 6/3/24. Thank you Leeke Lee in After Sales Service for the quick response and ease of getting my replacement. It’s been quite some time since I can remember such great customer service! ... show more

I bought this TV for two reasons. First, I wanted something I could use on my back lanai here in Florida. Second, I wanted something I could use during a long power outage which happens in Florida during hurricane season. My first disappointment is that I had hoped the Xfinity app which works on Android phones and Firestick, would work on this Android TV. The Xfinity app does NOT work on this TV, so I cannot wirelessly enjoy my household cable subscription while relaxing on my lanai. My second disappointment is that this TV cannot receive local broadcasts without an external 75 ohm antenna plugged in. There is no external antenna included, so you need to purchase one if you intend to watch local broadcasts. These disappointments can overcome by acquiring an external antenna, and a Firestick or Roku device. Seems like a lot of fuss to get the TV performance to meet my particular requirements. ... show more
