Was riding at night and had a police officer pull in behind me at a convenience store. Both him and his waiting partner came over to ask about this item. Turns out the officer that followed me in is a new rider and he was amazed at how visible the unit is. This item puts the brake and signal lights at a more eye level position which gains the attention of someone following in an automobile.     • Too dim to see in daylight. Quit after year and a half.
Too dim to see in daylight (everyone I ride with has made mention of that). Quit working after a 18 months. I didn't put a lot of hours on it because I ride mostly in the daytime. Easy to install in bike and on helmet. I expected longer life from what is essentially a rechargeable light.

    • Does not work with integrated taillight
Blinkers and running lights work, but you can't hook up the red brake light wire since integrated taillight brake light wire supplies power to run LEDs, it just won't work. The light stays on bright, and that's it. If I disconnect from brake light, I can use blinkers and running light, but I mainly needed this for the brake light. I would like to love it, but I guess ill be sending it back unfortunately. ... show more
