I bought 2 of these umbrellas (black) for a trip to Italy last week.. We used them pretty much every day as the rain almost never stopped.. We took them with us on and off Trains, Planes and Buses, and shoved them into a small backpack when inside.. both worked great and still looked brand new after a full week of use.. The size is just about right for a light, travel sized umbrella for a single person... Sure they don't cover as much area as a full length umbrella, but their easy to store and carry when not using. The auto open/close feature worked great.. Only complaint would be the "storage bag" they come with is not water proof, so it wouldnt contain any water from a wet umbrella.. so we didn't use them... ... show more

So far, this is a perfectly adequate umbrella. It opens and closes with ease and is lightweight. It functions exactly as it should. The case/bag it came in, though, is… confusing. The material is like a fake velvet material - decidedly fabric and not at all waterproof or resistant inside or out. Which is a strange choice considering the function of an umbrella. ... show more

The umbrella works well, however it is cheaply made and the cover for it has already torn. I think this umbrella would be good for mild storms but would struggle with anything else.

After owning and using this great little umbrella for 2 years, the automatic open/close function stopped working. I contacted the seller through Amazon’s message link to inform them of the problem. A new umbrella was received at no cost within a few days. Now that’s customer service!
