I am installing an aluminum radiator in my Camaro and there is a radiator core support bracket that was over-stamped by about 1/8" and interfered with the mounting bracket. I bought these to trim off the excess. Initially, I tried using these in a cordless drill and they barely scratched the bracket. Once I chucked it into my RotoZip, they worked fantastic. In fact, they worked so well that I had to create a little shield to direct the shavings away from my face. I was working in a tight spot and couldn't change the angle to direct the shavings differently or switch the rotation direction. The price on these bits delivered pretty good quality for very competitive price. These cut through mild steel like crazy when I ground off about three feet of weld crown. I cannot speak to longevity. Based on others comments, these appeared to deliver best quality for your dollar.

    • These cuts into metal like butter and stay sharp
I used the larger cylinder-shaped bit to enlarge some holes with my Kobalt die grinder. It easily cut away the metal, and still looks new afterwards. Great bits at a great price.

I did not know what to expect. They look very aggressive, like they remove a lot of material. I needed them to shave down broken screws and smooth rough edges. WOW, it works well. I use it in a Milwaukee M12 die grinder in the field. It is not too aggressive, giving me time to be careful. I liked it so much, I shared with a co-worker, and bought more. ... show more

Haven't had these long but for the time I have had them they've been a problem solver. We never won't to grind or cut away any metal where I work but sometimes you're given no choice. All of the equipment we work on is made of stainless steel which means all the fasteners are of S.S.. When you come across a broken fastener you're not always lucky enough to drill and use an easy-out. The drill bits, easy-outs, will break off, then your in a pickle. I bought these because our company had run short of them and having a hard time getting them in stock. Sure glad I did. Have only used two of them so far but both held their ground and did the job there made for. Still seem to be very sharp and have not lost any teeth on either of them. Time will tell. ... show more
