This is the first time I have had a toilet that the 💩 sticks to the bowl, it’s awful. This wasn’t an issue with my old toilet. Also installation is difficult. Very little room to work between the wall and the toilet. The seat isn’t bidet compatible, I have had the seat break one bidet. I payed the extra $20 for the deliverymen to leave the soiled just outside the bathroom. Such nice, friendly, and accommodating young men left the toilet right where I wanted it. Checked to see that the toilet was unscathed as the box suffered damage during its stay at a warehouse. The toilet looks fantastic, a bit cold to the tush, due to the material, but a wonderful toilet regardless! The installation itself was not difficult, the issue was the size of the opening and the installer's hands. He was unable to fit his hands through the opening, so he purchased an extension. It is beautiful and simple to clean. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the seat, it is cheap plastic and is specific to the brand so cannot be replaced with a generic seat. I am hoping Swiss Madison has a better quality seat this one looks and feels like it came from the dollar store. ... show more

    • We returned it immediately, here's why

As soon as we installed this, our contractor said "get a different toilet". Rationale: The seat is very cheap feeling, in particular the hinge mechanisms are unsuccessful at remaining flush (pardon the pun) with the rear surface of the toilet, and could not be tightened enough (even with a drill) to hold the seat down and prevent it moving side to side. Additionally we had concerns about accessibility for access and maintenance (such as it being difficult to access the water faucet at the rear wall like most toilets) which was proven during uninstallation. We immediately uninstalled and returned the unused toilet. We chose a Kohler instead as we've had this brand in several prior homes and were more comfortable with from a maintenance and quality standpoint right out of the box. No doubt this is an aesthetically pleasing thing to look at, as far as toilets go, but the quality wasn't sufficiently there for me to recommend this model. ... show more

We’ve only had it for 24 hours at this point and the only reason I’m posting a review this soon is to let people know that the circle image on the sides of toilet pop off for ease of installation and viewing the bolts. Many reviews talked about how difficult it was to install and I can’t imagine trying to install without popping off the circles. Maybe this isn’t news but thought I ought to share. ... show more

This is a great commode. Would buy again. Easy to set up. I don't like the seat bolts, they Swivel, don't know if they are supposed to but they're still functional. This toilet is beautiful and heavy, requires two people to install in order to align it to the bolt as the skirts obstructs the view. The contractor has to replace the bolts and reposition in order to have it aligned to the holes correctly. This is not a job for DIY person, use a professional that has lots of experience. Furthermore, now that I have owned it for over 7 months, it’s easy to clean, but i am not impressed with the quality of the ceramic used. It’s predisposed to toilet rings and there are always some human waste left in the bowl regardless if you use the number two option. I always have a spray cleaner handy along with a well used toilet bowl brush. If you can get an American Standard or Kohler version, get it. I have since marked it down from a 4 stars to a 3 stars. It’s way too much money for something stylish, hard to install, and requires lots of inside cleaning. ... show more
