We had a leak in a toilet and the plumber who looked at it suggested that it would cost us over $400 to repair or install a new one, even if we bought the toilet ourselves. $400! Having installed a toilet once before, we agreed we would never pay a plumber to do it again, because it's so damned easy. Second problem was when we went to buy a new toilet at the home store, and discovered we couldn't fit it in the car, not to mention the limited choices in stock. It would cost us for delivery, so I turned to Amazon Prime. We bought this toilet, which was delivered to our door. We also bought the blue plastic insert instead of a wax seal, which worked beautifully and seals completely. We had help from a stronger friend for 30 seconds to help one of us to lift it onto a dolly to move it from the door to the bathroom, but other than that, we got the installation done in about ten minutes. If you've never installed a toilet, you could probably find the instructions on a YouTube video, because it's so simple. The toilet itself is nice simple lines, easy to clean on the outside, and aesthetically pleasing. It flushes waste completely and fairly quietly, to our surprise, and it is very effective. The one thing that was a tad difficult was getting the screws in the holes to the floor, (we put tape on the floor to indicate where the holes would need to be, and it wasn't any problem at all), but the side hidden holes look great once you put the caps on. We are feeling very smart for getting and installing this toilet, and are very happy with it. Nice design and works well: what else can you ask? ... show more

    • Not bad for the price

It's rare enough to find a 10" standoff toilet these days, so I was quite happy to find this one at all. It's a nice toilet, works great once it's installed. It's not the easiest thing in the world to install, and the Chinese directions were pretty much useless. The two mounting hole covers are cheap white plastic and don't fit well - it's a cosmetic thing, not functional, so I'm not subtracting a star for that. All in all, it's worth the money but you might need a plumber to help install it - I got through it alone, but I've installed toilets before. If this was my first one I would still be monkeying with it four months after receiving it! ... show more

Installed everything and the day I added a pressure pump at around 40psi the water line that attaches to the toilet pop out. It's happened twice now causing some serious flooding in the entire space. This is a very serious design flaw and I purchased five of these that are out of the return window. There's no way I'd ever look at these again the same way ... show more

This toilet is nice looking and handles urine very well. 😐 The seat is janky, moves a lot despite fasteners and countless adjustments. Again, does great with urine -- horrible for most dumps and toilet paper of any caliber. Shallow bowl alert: ONLY FOR USE WITH VAGINAS OR MICRO PENISES. These are facts. I researched many toilets for small spaces that don't clog for our bathroom remodel. We are a family of four with one tiny bathroom. I was nervous about the reviews but I went with this anyways because it got some better reviews on Wayfair. I'm so glad I did! It saved space, it's comfortable to sit on, so far the seat is holding up well, and it flushes good too! We've only had it installed for a few days buy so far it's perfect. Replaced a 1980s low water volume toilet with this Swiss Madison unit. The old toilet had to be flushed multiple times to clear all of the solids and paper. It used more water than an old high volume toilet. This one sends the water around the diameter of the bowl , cleaning it and it clears everything in one flush every time. ... show more

This is a good looking water-saving toilet. The flush volumes were the lowest we could find, and they get the job done. Quality and finish on our 3 is very good, and they were well packed to protect against shipping damage. As others have noted, though, the seats are not up to the quality of the rest of the toilet. The plastic is too thin, and the attachment system as a little play in it: I don't think this is due to the quick-detach mechanism, which is a nice plus for cleaning, but to the method of attaching the mounting studs to the porcelain. Since the seats are not a standard size/shape, they aren't easy to replace. With a seat upgrade, this is an easy 5 star product. ... show more
