So this perfume is listed as Unisex, but to me is leaning femenine . I am a perfume collector and I had smelled hundreds of perfumes throughout the years and out of more than 300 bottles of perfumes I own , this is a good synthetic beast compared to others. And we all know the scent profile of this without smelling it because of the notes and because people claim it is similar to Lancôme Oud Bouquet. I bought it as a blind buy to compare and it is a beast. I think that the saffron note in this one is the most overpowering and the strong vanilla at the dry down. I think that although is not as refined , even more now since it was also reformulated, It is still a good option for the price point. Just wanted to add that I used to have the none reformulated/ discontinued version of Lancôme Oud Bouquet and I can tell you that the best economical and surprisingly best dupe of the original is Sheikh Al Shuyukh Luxe edition from Lattafa( see picture). That one is impressive in every aspect, price point, the quality and how smooth it is and that one my friends is what its called a beautiful Oud and caramel BEAST on projection, silage and overall performance. So back to this perfume ., It was delivered in a decent amount of time, well packed, no spills etc…I think it is nice and it has great projection, longevity, silage and a great overall performance. I purchased both Shaghaf Oud and Shaghaf Oud Tonka as a blind buy and I am just obsessed with both! First off I immediately noticed the quality with how rich and potent the scents were, a little bit goes a very long way. I can see myself using shaghaf oud in the colder months or for a nice evening out, it’s got a very deep warm and spicy vanilla with hints of coffee…this is what I am getting. Tonka for me is my favorite of the two, it’s heavier on the almond and cherry but also a bit tropical in a way it’s hard to describe but very captivating! I can see myself using this year round. Both scents are very unique to me and you can really smell the many layers. They give off very mature/rich/it girl vibes like something that will definitely turn heads and make you stand out! ... show more

I got shaghaf oud, if you want a beast mode oud forward fragrance here she is. I think it’s sexy, honestly kinda shook, I suspect I will need more time with this fragrance to truly appreciate it but rn I’m in awe of how different it is compared to my other fragrances. The opening had lots of vanilla once that pipes down it’s pretty oud forward and spicy, I can tell this is going to be a very long lasting fragrance. ... show more

This one is not going to be for the guy who likes mainstream cologne (Armani Code, Bleu De Chanel, Versace Eros, etc) This is a unique fragrance that has a floral start with a powdery dry down. It projects very well and lasts all day long. It can be layered with other cologne if you find it too strong in that oud/powdery note. I would say it’s masculine leaning personally but I do think it falls into a unisex category because the floral and powdery scent would probably wear well with a woman’s body chemistry. ... show more

    • Warm, rosy, slightly incense smell!
Scent: Shaghaf Oud Elixir
Shagaf Oud has a warm, rosy, slightly incense smell. As a female, I was afraid to try it based on some of the reviews, but I must say I was not disappointed when I received it today. I did go outside and do about 10 sprays to clear the atomizer, which helps get rid of the initial alcohol smell and aerate the perfume. I will definitely layer this with a rosy or vanilla body lotion to give it some more depth, and I'm sure the fragrance will change over time, as the Middle Eastern fragrances do. Scent: Shaghaf Vanilla Toffee
starts off gourmand sweet in the opening (vanilla i think) as it develops a smoky note the gourmand goes away lol(toffee?) it takes over making the creamy notes smell like patchouli which i hate! i think it makes it lean masculine. if vanilla incense it what you want Le labo vanille 44 does it better no patchouli waaay more feminine too. the rum makes it smell like vanilla extract. im gonna let it macerate but i dont think ill change my mind ... show more

Man, this scent was NOT for me. The floral aspect and spicy elements didn't blend for me or agree with my skin chemistry, however, it's very powerful and long lasting, sillage is great. Honestly you may go nose blind but others can smell it. Bc it is unique though, even if you're brave still consider buying it after getting a decant first and then committing so you're not out $20-30. Aside from the actual fragrance points (which is personal preference), the box is beautiful with a gold woodgrain, and the bottle is really nice and weighty. The atomizer gives a really nice wide spray of a fine mist for ideal application. Everything arrived in a timely manner, it wasn't broken or leaking, so you will have a great fragrance experience (if this is the scent for you)! ... show more
