Description

Layali Rouge has all the fun and frolics of a cocktail. Opening with sweet and juicy mango, pineapple, lemon, papaya and florals, the tropical opening sets the tone for the fabulous night ahead. The fruity notes are soon joined by a burst of hypnotic roses and juicy peaches, before hibiscus and coconut catch the breeze and bring it all to a rich night time finale. Niche perfumery is a state of mind. Its perfumes circumvent the laws imposed by marketing and fall outside of the traditional commercial channels. Artisan fragrances are not developed based on a marketing study conducted by commercial brands, but originate from the imagination and artistic sensibility of a perfumer. Enjoy our wonderfully unique, luxury personal fragrances, made with only the highest quality ingredients. At Swiss Arabian, our expertise and passion, our knowledge of legendary Arabian perfumery, oriental craftsmanship and contemporary elegance, all come together to create fragrances that capture your imagination and celebrate your true essence. The history of Swiss Arabian is an enchanting tale that spans over 40 years. This pioneer in Arabian perfumes was founded in the year 1974 by a visionary with a wealth of knowledge and a deep passion for perfumery. • The red flower is the business and low price too’
Scent: Amaali
This is my signature fragrance now! Lasts about 6 hrs, even projection, the layali rouge and this RiRi imitation oil from mobetter oils in a ratio of about 3:1. I hit my pulse points (I wish it was a roller ball), do few pokes with the dapper in my hair and then add a dab of my RiRi I really can’t describe the smell. It’s very feminine, not overly floral or fruity. It’s not vanilla based or green based and it mixes with every perfume I have. . I get so many compliments on this even the mean girls at work wanna know. I’ve used the purple flower & the light pink flower one, purple one was good, but it was really strong and just not my fragrance and the pink one was almost lemony it’s OK.I love the rouge though. ... show more

  • Amaali Beautiful fragrance
Scent: Amaali
Ooooh Amaali is such a pretty scent, and in a gorgeous bottle too!! Of course, things like fragrance are best experienced, and even the act of experiencing them can be subjective and depend on many factors...it is difficult to adequately describe a scent in a meaningful way. Even if you have an awareness of what each of the components smells like, it's still impossible to know for sure what anything will actually smell like. My personal method with blind buying such things is to purchase one that has all good smelling notes lol, because when I have bought things that are 90% great but have one component I don't like...well...that one bad component is all I smell lol. So, frankly, I like everything in this one, that's why I bought it. And I am glad to have this one. Of course, this isn't going to be a scent for everyone...but I will try to help you decide if it might be right for you. It is a very fruity and floral scent. It is super feminine. This fragrance really reminds me of a more complex version of the typical bath and body works offerings. Fruity-floral, juicy, sweet, pretty, inoffensive. It especially reminds me of their special Halloween scent (Vampires Blood), among others. It layers well with some of their sprays I have tried, too, especially Into the Night. So, I feel confident in saying that if you're the kind of person who is happy with almost anything from Bath and Body, it's a safe bet you'll like this perfume!! As for actual perfumes, to me this smells like it could have been influenced by some of the Betsey Johnson line, especially Love, Betsey. Again, not identical...but if you like that line of fragrance, then this is a good option. There are elements of this scent that remind me of certain vintage French perfumes also, perhaps too obscure and outdated to mention. Just be aware, this is an oil, not a spray. It's easy to put on too much. It only comes with the glass wand on the lid, which dips into the oil. No roller ball, no atomizer. Typically, I would be quite worried about spilling the product, but thankfully the design is well done! Meaning that the actual vial of perfume is secured in a decorative, weighty metal and enameled bottle. The weight of the bottle dispells much of my fear that I'll knock it over when trying to apply the oil. The bottle itself is so beautifully designed. It's got a bit of that blinged out, exotic aesthetic going on. I know of a few people who would love to have this pretty bottle just for a decor piece. I think if this bottle fits the actual decor of your home, and how you personally decorate that you'd probably like the fragrance itself! They did a good job in picking the right container to accompany the fragrance inside. To me, this is almost almost a perfect perfumy attar. It is suitable for everyday wear, or for more formal events, all depending on the person. I have been enjoying it for several days now. It definitely lifts my spirits, and it pairs unexpectedly well with other fragranced products. I do love a lot of Middle Eastern scents, but feel occasionally worried that they might smell offensive or wrong to the typical Middle-American observer. With this particular one, yes, I'll say there's a slightly different balance to the scent that might suggest it's origen, but overall, it's not one that I'll be worried about wearing outside the house. Finally, this is somewhat long lasting. Compared to other attar oils, this one is quite fleeting. But, compared to many alcohol spray perfumes--definitly any eau de toilette or weaker--this is much longer lasting. You might need to reapply it once or twice over a 12 hour day. The bottle isn't made for portability fyi. Also, the amount of oil is 15 mL. To convert that from metric to standard: one tablespoon is 15 mL. So, the price seems really reasonable for a huge bottle, yet the actual vial of product is small...I think a lot of what you're really paying for is the beautiful bottle, as the actual amount of product is one tablespoon. For any spray-on perfumes, that would be a sample size, but its a typical size for many oils, as they are stronger and longer lasting. Bottom line: I truly love this. It's perfect for me. I think it's a way safer blind buy or gift than most of these kind of oils. All around 5 star product!! Hope you love it as much as I do! ... show more

  • smells different every time...
Scent: Amaali
Upon reading the notes, this sounded like my dream fragrance. But it smells very different from the description, and I can hardly smell any of the notes mentioned. However, I do enjoy the smell, even though it's not at all what I expected it to smell like. A lot of people in the reviews here mentioned that it smells baby powdery. That is accurate. And one of the reasons why I almost returned it. But it's also the kind fo fragrance that has layers, and takes time for them to be revealed. It really does smell different every time I wear it, and after I got over the initial disappointment of it not smelling how I want it to, I've actually been pleasantly surprised. It smells sweet and feminine, without smelling basic or mainstream. There's a slight summery fruity vibe, very floral dominant, and just a hint of woodiness. It smells classy and exotic in my opinion. I just wish my head wasn't so sensitive to fragrances, because I can't wear it as often as I want to. It gives me a headache almost every time I wear it. But most fragrances do, so that's not really the product's fault. Also, a little goes a long way. I literally wear one drop and it lasts for hours on my skin and clothes. So it's a good price for a quality fragrance oil. The bottle is absolutely beautiful and makes me happy just looking at it. It's a good company, and the expiration goes out 5 years from packaging, so it will last me a long time to enjoy. ... show more
