I must admit, I wasn't too impressed by the pictures of this product but the price was good so we thought we'd give it a try. And, I'm glad we did! We installed one of the lights above my sons bunk bed so he can turn it on and off as needed, and the other on the next wall which ensured the optimum amount of light. We were pleasantly surprised with the look, functionality and amount of light these put off! I needed a wall lamp for a small space where there is no table for a lamp so this one really fits the bill! I use it to read when I get a chance to sit in my chair at night. It works really well!! I recommend it!!

I purchased the corded lamp so I cannot say anything about the hardwired one but the version I got is a piece of junk. The mounting hardware is low quality and does not work, I had to use my own. The design of the mounting plate that sits on the wall is awful and, if installed according to the directions, will not be flush or tight against the wall. I had to drill small holes into the wall for the screwheads to recess into so that it could sit tight. If you're looking for an easily installed light I would encourage you to try elsewhere. ... show more
